What do you think this week rankings will be on Monday ?

Duke will take over #1 soon and probably be there the rest of the regular season. They are just not gonna be challenged by the ACC.
they might, but it won’t last long. On the road at Wake and Clemson could be early Ls. They also got Unc coming to town. And oh how I’ll laugh if they lose to the, that and this unc team. 😂

Marquette was in CUSA too. 2003 Final Four. Houston was terrible back then.
Houston pretty decent 2005 to 2010 I thought then fell off until Sampson came back. They had random good years. That was a fun league. Can’t believe I forgot Marquette. Deiner, Novak and DWade was a nasty combo

New week......
I'm feeling bold. Missouri finishes off Flordia and Tennessee beats Georgia and Vandy and slides into # 4.
This prediction will either age like a bottle of fine wine or a bottle full of wino piss.

That could be true. We'll see. You're right about the ACC, but as you know it's a marathon season and there will be an off night or two. All I know is we have held onto the No. 1 ranking two different times in the last ten years longer than anyone for consecutive weeks. Whether everyone wants to acknowledge it or not, we've been far more nationally relevant in basketball than we've been in football for 25 years. With Pearl and especially now with Barnes, we've established ourselves as a top ten basketball program. We're in the conversation virtually every year

Dick Vitale will make his return for the Jan 25th Duke vs Wake Forest; I'd say Dickie V will anoint the Dookie's the new #1 baby!!! That's his team.

Yeah, I will probably pass on that joke of a broadcast. I'm sorry for his health issues, but that guy has always been a clown. He cheated as a coach but has attracted the crowds with his over-the-top analysis. Wasn't a very good coach, but has excelled as a animated analyst. Lee Corso, while not as popular as Vitale, gave ESPN their clown for football

Yuo're right Dukes schedule does not have any obvious roadblocks for the rest of the season.. wow... their only remaining current ranked opponent is gonna be a home game.

Good bounce back win for Bama. I think they drop to #5 and we move to #4. If we win.

Duke currently has a 20 SOS while we are at 35. They are estimated to finish with a 27 SOS while we will be around 7.
That's what I said their remaining schedule is weak, and ours is SEC. Our weak OOC schedule pulled down our early SoS. A weak conference schedule will pull theirs down.
