Let us please keep in mind journalists at a newspaper with no legal/tax experience are saying they have figured out things IRS agents could not.
I wouldn’t get your hopes up about some big kerfuffle. It had all the MSM fapping like mad tonight tho.
Trump must've really fudged the numbers on his 1040EZ form. Lol. I suspect the man has a firm of CPAs and Tax attorneys preparing his tax forms. I also suspect those taxes go through the IRS computers and people to scan for anomalies. Yet, it seems he escaped with no consequence. Amazing. The NY Times took three reporters off regular reporting for nearly a year on this story. They directly accused Trump of fraud (practically begging to be sued for libel). I can guarantee you every statement in that article was vetted by counsel and that they consulted with tax attorneys and accountants for every tax-related claim. This was not some slapdash piece that they hurried out.

Honestly I don’t really give a **** if they took three reporters off for ten years. They don’t have any business backing, certifications, or experience. They are trying to piece together estate/trust/tax law and strategy which as a lawyer you should know can be immensely complicated for high net worth clients. It’s akin to saying the girl on the Serial podcast could handle the guy’s appeals process. The NY Times took three reporters off regular reporting for nearly a year on this story. And remember that $1 million loan Trump talked so much about on the campaign trail? The Times reports that the total loan by Fred Trump to his son, Donald, was actually $60.7 million or -- and brace yourself here -- $140 million in today's money. (The total amount of money Trump received from his father's holdings is estimated at more than $400 million by the Times).
Another myth (lie) exposed.
I assumed most Trump supporters would shrug it off. To me it's just more insight into the character of the man.
Everyone has their price. That’s odd because it’s the one thing we agree with you on , we shrug it off because the left just goes on and on and on and on about it so it becomes ... meh . Does he lie ? Sure he does . Have they all ? ABSOLUTELY they have . He’s still gotten more done in half a term than most do in two terms so we are excited to see what else he does with the one and a half he has left .
