Look, I'm not going to sit here and pretend they probably wouldn't beat everyone in the playoff except maybe UGA, but that's just how it works out sometimes--it's why the games are played.

Hey Bama- TCU lost in a conference championship game (edit: in Overtime) with an undefeated regular season. Bama would have lost in Atlanta, but they didn't even make it there. This was the logic of the committee and I thing it's sound.

Just to continue the devils advocate, how many games has bamma lost as a favorite? Those are betting lines with people looking at percentages to risk their money.

I realize this is to celebrate the whining of the Bama fans - but some of those comments are spot on.

Show me a team that did not fall at least 1 spot when it lost.

Now TCU may surprise folks and be competitive - but if the following happens:

- UM destroys TCU OR it is close game, UM wins and then number 3 happens
- UGA destroys OSU
- UGA destroys UM

We will be back to - these were not the 4 best teams. One of those three need to either win or play UGA closer than TN did - otherwise it will be true that the selection committee did not pick the best four teams.

The interesting fact about Saban was when he did not make it he then switch the story line to Opt Outs in the Sugar Bowl game.

This is slicker than Willie Clinton. We did not make the CFP so we have got to see who is Opting out of the Bowl game.

IOW, the Sugar Bowl will not be a reflection of who we are because of the Opt Outs. His game is getting old and he is now schooling himself.

He needs to just Shut his mouth but I think he knows that the dynasty is fading fast and grabbing at last straws.
