Stoops needs to go full blown "Hal Mummy" on Saturday.

Surprise the crap out of UT. They come in expecting Mr. Conservative to try and slow the game down to limit their possessions......and whammo!!!

Hit em with fake punts on 4th down.
Throw 70 yard bombs out of your own end zone on every down you have.
Get the ball with 15 seconds in the half, throw 4 straight hail Marys in the endzone.
Have a db or lb "cramp up" on every UT first down and 3rd down to sub in players.
Get the crowd all riled up like Lane Kiffen.
Have them cussing and throwing crap by halftime.
Late hit their QB on every pass play. (You know they are going to blast WL with no penalties.)

Bring your ugliest old mangy cur dog to hump Old Smokie at mid field.
Ask their sister to marry you instead.
Streak through the Power T ahead of the Vols.

We can win this thing IF we play by THEIR rules.

Feel free to add any other creative ideas you might have that will pi$$ them all off.

Go Big Blue!!!
Make it a day to remember

This! Got to be the craziest post of the century. πŸ˜‚

Hey, I tried. UT-Martin doesn't have a message board though at all. So, I'll grace everyone with an early Kentucky Edition.

From CatsIllustrated
-First of all UT has played and beaten no one. People tried to hype their OT win over Pitt as more than it was. Then they tried to hype the win over a last second win against Florida. Then they hyped a win over a HORRIBLE LSU team. Now they're over the moon about the worst Alabama team in Saban's tenure.

-On the road and with the OL we have I just don’t see it. But if Kentucky wins I’d say they probably move up to #8. Sure hope it happens as I live in Knoxville and you’d think they just won the national title. They are selling shirts commemorating a regular season win lol

-We would move up to #1 if we beat Tennessee, because according to all of the Vol Fans, they are #1 in the country. Fools.

-We've had a better year 5 straight seasons, theyre finally going to edge us this season. Sorry.

-Bama and Yew Tee did us a favor, they gave us an opportunity to make history in Knoxville.

-Their fans were already insufferable when they were losing ... now it is even worse. Especially here in Nashville, where it seems like everyone is wearing orange now (it definitely hasn't been like that the past decade).

-No pressure for Kentucky. Control possession. Don’t worry about style points. #19 beating #3 isn’t that crazy

-It’s Tennessee. They’re inferior humans to us. Literally underneath us in society and on a map

-Just the thought of a UK team coming into Knoxville and beating them has those trailer living folks having nightmares. They have 2 weeks to worry.

-They know we will be prepared and healthy and a trap game with #1 Georgia between the hedges looming as well. All the ingredients are there folks. Big win over Bama and a CC to keep that Big Orange head large….you see it, I see it, the Vols fans see it

-You play Tennessee just like you played Mississippi. They do the same ****. Play a play every 10- 15 seconds. Playing Mississippi at Mississippi was a huge advantage for us cuz we know what's coming. We'll be ready for them. Going to control the clock and we're going to run that ball down there throat. And then they can go home listening to that Rocky top song that actual Kentucky man wrote lol. Play our song Tennessee.

-Hooker hits a lot of big plays, force him to dink and dunk, I know that defense is frustrating but that is Kentuckys best shot, along with rodriguez controlling the clock

-Can’t prepare for that home whistle no matter what you do. The calls they got against Bama, especially in the 4th quarter, was disgusting.

-Tennessee is on another level offensively. I hope our D can keep us in the game.

-Wow. Let’s be realistic here, we are going to be 20 point underdogs to UT.

-Tennessee doesn't have more talent than us. FACT. PICK UP THE RECRUITING RANKINGS THE LAST 4 YEARS AND TAKE A LOOK.

-The refs played a role in last years game here with obvious facemask not being called and then throwing a flag on coach for arguing about it. It was beyond pitiful. Let's hope those home whistles aren't blowing.

-Let's be real here. Our chances of beating UT aren't great. We need a dam near perfect game if we are to win. Good news is we haven't played close to a perfect game yet, so we are do. But sadly it's gonna take something special to take them out. They are flat out good and makes me sick to say that, but facts are facts.

-At the very least Kentucky should be 6-1. The Tennessee game is exactly like the Louisville game the year Lamar Jackson won the Heisman, Kentucky should go into calm and loose and see what happens

-Speed. That’s all you need to know. And that’s how they win. If you can’t match that speed, you have no chance. None. Nada. Never happen. You can’t turn speed on and off or use it every other or every third play. They use it on every play on offense. Their secondary gets away with a lot of holding, grabbing, physical play. I guess they can’t call it all the time. Being a realist here, this one had loss on it the day the schedule came out. It’s a game you play, hope you don’t get any injuries, then you move on.

-UK defense is a good better than Bama. UT is tremendous offense for sure, best in SEC, but Bama never adjusting to covering the slot WR was rather terrible scheme was it not?

-UK knows the formula to win this game. Control the clock and limit possessions.

-Brad White and the defense remember last year. Revenge is best served on a Saturday night in October in your opponent's stadium. I don't expect them to say much before the game. I expect they will say alot during the game.

-UK is better at receiver than Alabama and they will get open. When the safeties come up to stop CRod, the TEs will run the seam

-They hadn't beaten Bama in forever. They played their best game of the year. It could have been their max performance. Teams don't always get better.

-TN could very easily have 3 losses. They beat a really bad Pitt team in OT after the Pitt QB was hurt, they gave up 500+ yards of total offense to an ordinary UF QB and gave up 600+ yards, and a great benefactor, of 17, that's SEVENTEEN penalties vs Bama. Whose ass does UK have to kiss to have 17 penalties called on an opponent? TN's O is good, their D will cost them somewhere, sometime.

-Question for those who remember 1998. Were UT fans this bad in 98?

-UT is the same as Lincoln Riley Oklahoma teams. Can put up points to beat ppl and be a top 5 team, but when they run into a team that can score pretty well but has a good defense and can atleast hamper their scoring they may be in trouble, bc they can't stop anyone scoring.

-The crew who officiated the Tennessee Bama game was the same as the one in Alabama's regular season loss in 2021 to Texas A&M and, more importantly, the one in the 2020 Arkansas @ Auburn game where they handed the game to Auburn and were subsequently suspended. That crew will probably be at Kentucky Tennessee. We're screwed.

-The best wide receiver in college football, Cedric Tillman, did not play in any one of those games. He will be back for us. That ladies and gentlemen , poses an absolute nightmare for anyone with his return.
Hope you like being a Loser

Levis has a lot of bad QB habits….and yes, you can always count on him for an ill-timed turnover.

Other than his size, I really am stumped by all the hype over him and his early draft projection.
Same bro. I been yelling this since the off season. For some reason "analyst" never learn from the past. They go all in on a QB bc his size and arm but has nothing upstairs. Ryan leaf 2.0

So tonight they just said they were going to slow the game down to a crawl and beat us that way. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Yeah, if the teams we have faced so far haven’t been able to run against us, I’m not so sure Kentucky is gonna be the one to do it. I mean the rushing offense ranks of the teams we have faced: #16 Florida, #17 Alabama, #37 Pitt, and #41 LSU. Those guys couldn’t do it but #109 Kentucky thinks it can run on our #9 rush defense. Our own rushing attack is #24 and Georgia is #29 btw.

Yeah the Mildcats fans are praying that the NCAA hits Tennessee real hard and they will be deeply disappointed when and if they don't;)
I’m truly surprised they haven’t just dropped it by now, UT pretty much handled it themselves, and wouldn’t you want to show a good outcome for self reporting to encourage such behavior?

Didn’t we actually report the infractions ourselves to begin with? Like, was it coming out if we did not do that? I could be wrong about that, memory is fuzzy. We then spent a bunch of money to do a full investigation. I do remember that, and also that they gave us glowing reviews and told us we were the model of cooperation.

Doesn’t sound like the language you use jf you are going to impose the harshest penalties. Also we got rid of Pruitt and used the infractions we discovered and reported as cause to fire him with cause and save millions in buyout money. I remember that part, just not how they came to light or if the NCAA was going to find out if we didn’t tell them.

Either way, if you want schools to be cooperative in these things and discourage them from coverups I don’t see the logic in post-season bans or worse. Pruitt was dealt with and the players involved are gone. The rules around student athletes and money have changed. Also we are self imposing scholarship reductions, and that isn’t exactly a slap on the wrist.

Actually, Levis is pretty good. This season, he has been frequently harassed because his OL's inability to protect him. What you don't want to do is give him time because he's a good passer when that happens. He might get that time due to them having CRod back, to dampen our most effective defensive play, which is a relentless blitz. Our back end pass defense is a porous as a mesh ladle being used to serve tomato soup. That leaves our having to win simply because of our quick strike ability. We can't afford to let them force 3 and outs consistently. I know this post won't be poplar, but some folks know truth when it appears.

I think UT set a precedent of going above and beyond.. and if they are not fairly lenient, then nobody would ever want to self report a violation again.. on the other hand, the NCAA may do a last minute power grab, but that would look kind of dumb imo
