Memphis and Birmingham…hmm! You shall now be called “blackkettlevolfan.”Yes, it is. No malice intended as I was just saying that in jest and aiming it towards the comments from the unhappy Moc fans. I lived in East Brainard in the eighties, and was originally from Memphis, so I have seen a lot. My brother also lives in Birmingham, so there’s that. I should have explained myself better.
You must not keep up with other areas. Chattanooga has it's issues for sure. Idiots are everywhere no matter where you live. Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga or Memphis. Let's not discuss Atlanta, Dalton, Macon, or Athens GA.I am laughing at the hillbilly hell comment. I live in Chattanooga and it is totally a screwed up and violent town, and it gets worse every damn year, and I’ve been stuck in this **** show since 93.
So yes, I think I have a large enough sample size to have a valid opinion.
I’d move back to Knoxville in a heartbeat.
Be sure to press this! LOL, we would gain a pretty nice golf course out of it! Augusta National.Even though I live in South Cackalacky now, the Water War between Jawja and God’s Country was fun while it lasted. Some of us were planning to “annex” Savannah, GA into Tennessee and rename it East Savannah, TN. Put up “Tennessee State Line” signs…the works! We figured Tennessee needed a seaport and Jawja needs water from Nickajack. We “suspended” the campaign. For now.
Austin Peay gave us and Milton all kinds of trouble in the opener last year. I think that really does show how important the quarterback position is, especially Heupel’s system. It’s not often an FCS school can even stand on the field with an FBS school that has loads of talent. We have loads of talent now. I’m sure Chatt is pretty good in their conference and as an FCS school, but no way should they have expected other than what happened if they’re paying any attention at all. There’s an enormous difference at every position. Take your million bucks and live in reality. No offense to Chattanooga players or fans.
Mays was out and also our OL is better this year than last year.Austin Peay gave us and Milton all kinds of trouble in the opener last year. I think that really does show how important the quarterback position is, especially Heupel’s system.
As a Tennessee fan that went to both UTK and UTC… I honestly couldn’t care much less about UTC sports. It’s cool when they make the tournament and stuff but I don’t watch any of thier games. Much less throw myself a pity party bc UTC isn’t in the same stratosphere as UTK, like the posters in the original post of the thread.I'll pull for Peay in every sport. Unless we play UT. Then it's all orange
