What's best for the future of UT football: Dooley teams win or... (merged)

Does it really matter how good Dooley is. The fact is (and don't get all pissy) that if dooley does not out recruit Urban and seriously close the talent gap he will be getting his arse kicked every third week in september.

And 10 wins for Dooley next year is a JOKE. He will be fortunate if he keeps the kentucky streak alive. Give the guy a three year plan cause he will need it.

So what are you Gators going to do now that there is a much better coach in the conference?

Also, does Urban plan on faking anymore health issues to keep everyone in love with him?

UF will continue to win 9-12 games a year for a long time. Urban will get outcoached many a time but his talent level is so high it will not matter much. It will be a familiar story. He may even win another NC on talent alone.

Well it was more about the talent level. But i will agree that urbans relationship with timmy blinded him at times. He was outcoached in the SEC Championship game. But I see him outcoaching others in the future.

They were top heavy i agree. But our D that year was loaded 2 Deep.
Florida dominated defensively because OSU came out flat, overconfident, and they wildly underestimated SEC speed. They got destroyed on defense because Florida ran the offense Urban wanted instead of the hybrid crap OSU must have seen in 13 games of film.

Meyer won wherever he went and it was not because he was getiing outrecruited all the time.

fyp

Meyer does not scare other coaches with his Xs and Os that is all you need to know. He is a one of the best recruiters in the game no doubt. UF will always be talented but they are disgusting talented right now.

I'd rather have 3 years of 4-8 than go 8-4 for 7 straight years.

8-4 would be the historical winning percentage for UT. I fail to understand why some delusional, koolaid blinded fans think UT is somehow a 10 win program.

I agree. A 10 win season isn't exactly easy. I would love to be able to expect 10 win seasons every year, but that's too much to ask for, especially in the SEC.
