Where is this "expert recruiter"?

Recruiting athletes to fit a system is something that we've sorely needed at UT. Lane Kiffin will give guys who legitimately have a shot at the NFL a chance. He obviously thinks that Boyd and Petty have no shot at being an NFL QB. That's not a bad thing.

1. it's not always been a problem.
2. Lane Kiffin shouldn't, and doesn't, care about the NFL prospects of the kid he is recruiting
3. That is NOT the reason he told Boyd and Petty what he told them.

Fulmer's recruiting approach at the end did not have a clear focus. The basis of the recruiting model Kiffin implemented at USC was to go after any recruit they thought was a legitimate first day draft selection. Look at the QB's he recruited at USC. He's looking for a potential pro QB and realized Petty and Boyd aren't.

Were you "leading" when you "cut and pasted" blogs/articles/etc from other message boards and passing them off as your original thoughts. That is not leading; that is following what someone else had to say; not to mention plagiarizing.

i promise you that when a coach, any coach goes recruiting, he's not recruiting him based on what day he thinks this kid will get drafted in the NFL. they call those NFL scouts, not college head coaches.

i mean c'mon.........where is the common sense anymore?

if a coach is recruiting a kid for any other reason than this kid is the best possible player that can help us accomplish our goals, then i'd show you an out of work college coach.

Seriously? Kiffin said that the basis of the recruiting model is to identify potential first day draft choices and go after them first/hardest. Of course Kiffin wants to recruit the best possible player that can help us win. At USC Kiffin had the luxury of recruiting only QB's that he thought had a legitimate shot at the pros. I don't know if he'll be able to be as picky at UT but it certainly seems like it so far. If that's so ridiculous then please share your idea as to why he told Petty and Boyd no thanks.

How many years will Kiffin coach at UT?

What will be his record at UT?

Are you bitter that Fulmer received no job offers after all the vacant HC jobs this year?

What qualifies you besides your twisted ego on CLK inability to succeed here? the Raider record is garbage because of Al Davis & Carroll has admitted Kiffin did in fact call plays at USC

Plus it makes you look none too "brite" when its proved your posts are the opinions of Gator bloggers and unemployed former PR guys with a personal axe to grind with Kiffin.

i was just looking for usc opinions,and did note that they could very well be biased for whatever reasons.

these posts were also pre kiffin hire at u.t.,nothing more than a differant perspective of what we have been reading.
