I've got that knife (without the stripes). I like it ok, but went back to my Kershaw Tanto as my daily.

Kershaw has some great knives.
I took the belt hook off of the SOG, it just seems to fit.

Speaking of forgetting you're carrying it, twice I've had to hide it outside Neyland, once I carried it in with me and didn't notice till I was paying for a Coke.

I've never heard of Emerson knives before. I just looked them up. I'm getting one.

I know there's numerous places to buy and order knives, but when I lived in North West Arkansas I would sho there, and they send a great catalogs out several times a year

If you ever go to a concert at House of Blues in New Orleans, they will try to take your knife. I said, I'll be damned if YOU get MY knife, so I just jump-shot it into a dumpster, but I shoulda got outta line and hid it up on a window sill in the alley. Just be forewarned.

Another reason why a man might oughta not put too much investment into a knife (or a watch) ... they supposed to be functional. JMHO. :question:

I generally always have a pocket knife on me. Nothing fancy, just a practical tool. I get reactions from peers or students sometimes when I pull it out to use it for something, as if I just pulled out AK47.

It's just a tool.
