Why is it now illegal to rag on dooley?

Some sad people in here. Happy thanksgiving to you losers. I'm sure you are a joy to be around.

And I repeat, the people who talk about what they spend don't spend diddly poo, so keep that bs for your friends you try to impress.

Maybe we should get you and Volly some crayons to play with, would that make you feel better?

Well I didn't know simple typos were in the same class as vocabulary deficiencies but whatevs

You missed a comma after 'Well', and 'whatevs' isn't a word.

You seem to have a lot of 'typos' in your posts.

Let me know when you'd like to stop correcting posts.

Any Vol fan should be able to attack Dooley readily and freely.

IMO, as long as he is getting paid by us (yes I give money to UT), he is fair game to give your opinion. Best I remember, he is still getting over $100,000 per month.

Now, IMO he is the worst head coach EVER at UT and he stole over 10 million dollars from UT.

:yahoo:

If someone got paid $11 million bucks over 3 years to be this bad then by all means make fun of them as much as you want.

He come in lost a bunch of football games and got fired. Not much else to say about it really, he wasnt the guy for the job.

Some people just aren't happy unless they're complaining.. I feel bad for the upcoming new Coach.. people are going to find everything to complain about him..

^^^^
This. Or as coach Majors put it, "The Legion of the Miserable". If you spend a fair amount of time on internet forums it becomes apparent that there is a segment of the population that just enjoys being angry. They get a thrill out of having their hair set on fire about something. Too much Glenn Beck, maybe.

Bashing DD at this point serves no purpose other than to vent your spleen. He wasn't your girlfriend, he didn't cheat on you, stop acting like a jilted high school boy. He's gone already, you should be happy.

Such is life.
Dooley needed better leaders and better players. Had neither. Got fired as a result. The next coach has the same problem (except at offensive linemen).[/QUOTE]

Perzackly.....the new coach must clean house in the secondary, kicking, OC...at a minimum.

Dooley surrounded himself with coaches that should never have been hired. The one chance he had to redo that and he actually made it worse. This brought him down.

Yeah cause I'm sure he had the ability to fire any coach on staff and hire any coach in the country from the moment he stepped on campus. In his redo he picked up Pittman and Graham which proved to be good hires. Let's be honest no one on here can say that Sunseri was his #1 choice or that he wasn't a pill that he was forced to swallow.

But I'm glad that for you every decision in life you make or option you have to accept turns out to be 100% correct. Congrats on being so fortunate in life cause you are better off in life than 99.9999999.........9% of people in this world. Just wanted to makes sure you know how truly blessed you have been. :hi::good!:

I agree Dooley has improved the program but we Have suffered some very humbling losses. I think back to the loss to LSU on the last play of the game because we had to many men on the field. Had Dooley won that game in his first year I think the program would be completely different. It always amazes me how one event can change the outcome of so many different events

I agree with PimpVol that "such is life" but I agree with you.

I would say the loss to KY being the one that really got him. Many throw the "got beat by a WR at QB" crap like that was the real reason we lost. That's just thrown out there by negavols trolls to flame up the others. If the ref would have correctly called the fumble we recovered on thier 1 (and only 1) TD drive then we could have come out of there with a hard fought win, bowl game, and his seat wouldn't have been "hot" or even "warm" coming into the season. Is what it is at this pt though...

All threads about CDD should be replaced with this summary. Well-written, Beecher. :hi:

It is what it is. He was a bad hire, some realized it sooner than others, some are probably pissed they didn't see it sooner.

Just glad that part is over. Time to move on.

You deserve any and all attacks which come your way. I hope you enjoyed you 5th birthday this year. If you are older than 5, you are classified as retarded.

I know right? I mean op has no class. The fact that he would even want to acknowledge and/or discuss the fact that Dooley's tenure here saw the worst stretch of football in any of our lifetimes, or the ky/vanderbilt embarrassments, or the fact that we may face the first 8-loss season in school history, or any of the other school records Dooley shattered is pathetic. Dooley was a good man...it literally sends chills up my leg to think of how good of a man he was. At least there are actually people like us that "get" it and can put someone like the op in their place with baseless insults.

One of the dumber posts on Volnation. Ever.

Some of us retain our southern courtesy. Our fan base needs class.

Class is subjective, seems to be a changing definition like when bad means good. Unfortunately you are correct about how mean people and especially internet persona's can be.

He is fair game. He actually conspired to leave this program in worse shape than he found it.

In one respect, we should probably thank him. Coaches love taking over big-time programs at rock-bottom. Thanks to Dooley's historic incompetence, the Tennessee job has more appeal now than it did when Fulmer left.

It doesn't get any worse than a head coach whose mark of progress over the last two seasons was beating Vanderbilt.
