Why, Rick Barnes?

Do you poke your bottom lip out when you cry? I'm honest enough to call a excuse maker when I see one. Find where I've blamed the refs for losses in any sport. It's the losers way out to blame refs....Your dishonest if you don't admit it. Two can play this game.
Not as far as you do when you are sucking on KY's happy sack.
Let me tell you something Phil, It doesn't matter what you do or don't necessarily do in regards. It's wholly irrelevant.
The truth of the matter is poor officiating does infact cause better teams to lose games. You're about the only person I have run into on any sporting site that would even argue they don't.
It's frankly weird you refuse to acknowledge this.
But it doesn't matter, tho. You see, the thing about the truth is it is true no matter where you believe it or not. Or in your case, admit it.

Not only are you a troll, but a you're a 🤡 to boot.
When Barnes took over we were a .500 team and below that the year before. Pope took over Kentucky off of a 23 win season and had 22+ and 26+ the seasons before that.
And guess what else? Barnes didn't have the luxury of the portal, NIL, or a team with a tradition of winning basketball to build him a team, either.
You're funny, man. I'll give you that.
Well, your arguments are anyways.
Lol...Troll. You want to put up years attending UT games....Basketball games in Stokley/Alumni Gym....Neyland....Bowl games?

What's your excuse for a head coach to go to 1 Final Four and that was with one of the best players in the country at a school that has more money than pretty much anyone in the country? He's paid top 5 in the country and hasn't sniffed a Final Four here but some of you folks treat him like he's a God. He was actually 4th in pay but was jumped by Bruce Pearl at Auburn...That coach that got Auburn to the Final Four....That same Auburn that 90 percent of their fans didn't know where the basketball arena was until Pearl got there.

You make excuses...I'll give you that...Now go complain and post how that Big bad Purdue and the refs were mean to us. And the Nun...and FAU...and Oregon State who hasn't done squat since they thumped us which was most likely the refs fault....on and on.

It's never UT's fault......UT loses because the refs and ESPN hates us. Feel better? Maybe you can sleep tonight knowing the refs just screw us. I mean they hate us. They get together in a room before every game and hold hands and chant....Let's screw UT...Lets screw UT. I bet tomorrow afternoon they'll get in a room and prepare their UT screwing techniques for the Vandy game.

DAMN....We'd have multiple national championships if we hadn't been screwed by the refs.

There are rehab clinics specifically designed to help those who are consumed by petty grievances. Of course, that only applies if you're not a troll

You started it smart ass. It's your MO. Maybe you can seek help for your big man syndrome. You're not use to getting it back in your face I see. Here I am, keep it coming.

Enjoy your retirement and stop embarrassing yourself than you already have right now.

Says you....Now go back and keep your nose where it belongs. Who died and made you the board boss. Funny you don't say anything to your cronie that started it.

You could have attended every college game since your mom gave birth to you and still be a troll, Phil. You have bad arguments, Sir.
Speaking of giving birth and bad arguments, you almost gave birth to a coherent one, but unfortunately you killed it in the womb again.

DK CHOSE to come to Tennessee BECAUSE of Rick Barnes. He wanted to play for him.
A number of other teams wanted him ( albeit no where near as many that should have which is another credit to Barnes for recognizing greatness) but he wanted to play for Barnes to get better defensively. Without Barnes, we don't get him, and we don't get to the Elite 8 and prove to be one of the best 8 teams in the country.
Even with that loss to Purdue, we had a fun @ss time last year watching Dalton play.
(Btw, Kentucky would kill to have made it to the Elite 8 last year. Their fans are starving for a game past the 1st round 😎).
Coaches that make it there and father deserve the money they are paid. Barnes doesn't have to win a championship to have a great season or make the kind of money he does. He's paid what he is because he consistently gives us a chance to at making to a Final 4 or Natty.

I digress.
You are good at strawmen, Phillip. Despite your ADHD posts that run all over the place, you are good at deflecting from the main argument.
-->i.e poor officiating necessarily can necessarily cause a better playing team to lose games.
Why do you think they added VAR, dude?
Why do you think they are hoping they can implement AI in sports officiating?
Because everyone ( weirdly except maybe you) were sick of poor officiating ruining games/causing the team that actually played better to lose.
Poor officiating can affect games on many different levels, too Phil.

Damn....the crying never stops. It's a sickness with some UT fans. Why is that? Troll....you can do better than that, surely.

It amazes me that so called grown humans can latch on to a multi-million dollar coach that wouldn't give them the time of day as if they were a Basketball God.

Cry babies blah blah blah Barnes lovers blah blah blah...your arguments have essentially been reduced to copy/paste, Phil. What's next, Godwin's Law?
You going to tell us how Barnes is worse than Hitler, or supporting him makes us a Nazi? 🤣
Your troll game is weak, old timer. Take your meds, let your fingers rest, and come back after you've had a nap so you can try to do better.

Struck a nerve I see. Now go and write one of your full page posts.

He has a point. It’s evident in every sport at UT. Every single basketball game that we play poorly in, the same posters in here say the same thing. The refs. In football, when we lost? It was always well Pearce was held on every play or something else. According to some the refs NEVER call it in our favor.

So when we win it’s because we were better. Never because the refs. When we lose? It’s always because of the refs. Never that the other team was better. This is how a lot of VN does it and it’s lame.

Does officiating affect the outcomes of games? Absolutely. Does every ref in every sport have it out against us and call the games unfairly against us? Absolutely not.

Buddy, that is EVERY single team in the league.
They all have fans that do that.
Between last night and tonight KY had 4 threads complaining about the officials screwing them over. They went on for WEEKS about being screwed over by the officials after their game with Georgia earlier in the season, too.

Name me and SEC team you think doesn't do it and I guarantee you I will be along shortly to give you plenty receipts of them doing it
I go to other sites....Rupp Rafters...Cat Pause....Bama boards...UGA boards...LSU Rant....SEC Rant. UT leads the pack....and I can't find near the coach love and worshipers than I see from UT fans. It's a cult.

You aren't the only one that goes to other boards.

You are the one still lobbing personal insults. Appears you are triggered. Both the players and coaches under performed against a lower ranked team and therefore lost. It happens. All we can hope is that they learn from it and get better. It’s getting closer to the end of the season and a lot of tourney teams such as St John’s and even KY seem to be going in a more upward trajectory.

@BernardKingGOAT

Well my post at the end aged well. Gonna take the L on that. St. John’s looked like trash tonight.

St. John isn't anything to worry about and neither is Kentucky. You take the close wins they got from us away because they shot over 50% from 3 and from 2 in BOTH games, and they would be below Arkansas in the Standings and on the bubble.
If they can shoot 50% from the floor and from 3 the rest of the year I'll kiss your @ss

Let's start with your very first one shall we?

BTW, We were talking aabout fans complaining about refs officiating unfairly but I'd have no problem providing you Pope nutthugging threads and posts when he had lost 4-5 game to counter you switching the topic.

p.s. Keep in mind all these were from ONE game - they one last night. I'm pretty sure there area couple more, too. If you really want some reading material I'll pull you the crying posts from the KY vs Georgia away game.🤣🤣

Refs can be bad it works both ways. He singled out as you have one fan base. It is true in all sports in all leagues, NFL, MLB, and other major sports. Sometimes the calls make a difference sometimes they do not.

What has Barnes done to change it? he serves on the rules committee. Coaches very rarely mention refs in any sport, I wonder why? Great example is the Chiefs - Eagles Super Bowl game. Refs had affect on the outcome of the game? we had a Ref conspiracy before the game and the Eagles took that aspect away by beating them soundly. Fans need someone to blame.

We lost some games based on bad refs in all sports. So have a lot of other teams, but it is not so much the refs as it is consistency by both the team and the Refs. Kentucky did not beat us because of the Refs although they were not consistent, we lost because we had no shows in the game.

So get over it and stay away from the Ref thing vs endorsing the potential childlike troll.
