Will Muschamp to UF

just looked him up.

saw that he's okie state's o-coord and rumored as a candidate for the pitt head coach job.

i haven't seen okie state play, so i don't know what to think.

He's got a great offensive mind, but he puts up big numbers against weak Big 12 Ds. He also runs alot of Pros-Style sets. If UF does get him, it will be interesting to see how he does against some SEC Ds.

Multiple sources have Major Applewhite following Muschamp to UF as OC. Also, Muschamps buyout?? $0.00 USD

some of you can rest at ease.

apparently, it is being confirmed that the new offensive coordinator will be major applewhite.

RT @gkketch: Just confirmed with two sources that Major Applewhite is expected to follow Will Muschamp to Florida as the school's new OC.

I always thought Applewhite was overrated.

On a side note, Muschamp has just walked into an impossible situation. Anything less than 1 NC and two SECC within the first 4 years will not be tolerated. Meyer's regime set the bar high.

It's an easy place to recruit to, but nothing beats Texas. Hopefully Miami pulls out a better hire and Jimbo gets things rolling.

Texas doesn't get competition from a&m, tcu, and tt in recruiting the state like Florida receives from fsu and miami.

Muschamp could've went 6-6 with Tennessee this year I guarantee it.

I remember it being reported that Muschamp wanted the job at Tennessee , then he looked at the schedule and roster and changed his mind. You might believe he would have won six games at Tennessee this year , but Will sure as hell didn't. Everyone here would have taken Muschamp given the timing and the fact that we knew more about him at the time.

The Dooley hire wasn't flashy. We had to wait and see. Most of us were just glad we didn't get Cutcliffe or bring back Fulmer. But the fact that Dooley knew what he was getting into and took on a very difficult situation showed that he was not afraid of the job ahead. After what happend here , it wasn't a very attractive job. I'm sure coming here from Tech was an easy choice , but it still wasn't like being a coach in waiting for a team that is loaded yearly or jumping to Florida , that has an easier schedule and plenty of depth. I don't think Will wanted to work for it. He wanted it gift wrapped. And that's fine. If he suggested Dooley , thanks. Right now it seems like a pretty good suggestion. Muschamp might have known what he was talking about. That could change in the next few years , but it's going pretty good so far.

i have to keep reminding everybody that we have evidence that florida, florida state, and miami can all be good at the same time.

florida can't keep fsu from being good even if florida got every recruit they wanted. there is too much talent in the state.

we have proof of this. florida and florida state played each other for the national title in the mid 90's.

If this had something to do with the decision over someone whao has a huge buyout, but was a better hire, UF better quit letting Foley talk to MH.

Nobody doubts that.
