If Saban goes to Texas it will instantaneously squash the famous unofficial motto of the State of Texas "Everything Bigger in Texas". Unless of the course the state is overran with 5'5" munchkins.

Thats not true..Muschamp was offered a few years ago,Davis, Patterson, Bryles and Peterson were never offered. Gruden who really knows but supposedly the sticking point with him was money and more control than UT would offer.

We are talking Programs where coaches would want to go, correct? Top programs of all time...top traditions... top selling points. They are all over the web, and Oregon doesn't make the list.

I'm pretty sure Oregon hasnt even made the list for Top 50 all time programs. You really think you can jump to the top over a few years of winning with a fancy training facility and some neon jerseys?

Are you jealous because we got your coach? Your list is laughable. Oregon? Not even close to a top ten job. Depending on what all you factor in ut is a top 8-12 program. Right on par with uga and au. We have huge boosters, world class facilities, and a ton of former players representing us in the NFL. People have such short term memory. 7 years ago bama was a dumpster fire. Now they are the third best job in the country?

My coach? What the **** are you talking about? The only people who think UT is a top ten job are UT fans. It just simply isnt right now.

I rate Miami lower because facilities are a dump and there is no commitment to improve them. Fan support is almost nonexistent. There also isn't a lot of opportunity for a big pay out. It's more of a stepping stone job for hot young coach but not a retirement destination. Location and recruiting are the only 2 things really going for it.
