Zach Rogers

Your outside of your mind. Good hands, solid route running and speed are what makes a rcvr. He has all three.

Just because you run a 4.4 doesn't mean you have football speed. What is his time with pads on?

Jerry Rice ran a 4.6 in his prime. Ever see anyone catch him from behind on the FOOTBALL field?

That being said, I will be surprised if Zach Rogers ever sees the field for UT.

In the open field he is fast. He also has good cutting speed. As I have stated before I am not huge on him but to say he isn't quick is false.

I dont know...

He must not be too awful good to have teams like Stanford, Colorado, and Vandy on his list.

:ermm:

It also said Texas Tech and Alabama and those teams are soo terrible aren't they. Especially Tech w/ their offense and the WR's they have. Riiight. Ive played against this kid and he is bad ass (also Pat T from Goodpasture my jr yr. and yall would not believe how big that dude is in real life seriously its unreal and our boy Kiffin recruited him I love it lol)

If D-MO is gone, expect Zach to get a shot at some PT there next year. He is an early enroller right?

Do you think he can get open against Rogan, Vinson, Berry, Waggner, A. Evans? Didn't think so. So he'll never see the field.

Know one knows. But since Lane (as far as we know) has yet to tell Zach "we're going in a different direction," I'll take his judgement over any laptop recruiting coordinator.

Your forgetting something. He has to tackle. This isn't the Pac-10. I can see it now Julio Jones stiff arms him and then outruns him to the endzone.:eek:lol:

from a well respected poster.

Zach Rogers...i think people are forgetting about this kid because he is Austin's brother. I just posted this one the mainboard, but Zach is one of the 5 fastest recruits in the country this year. Fastest white guy i have ever seen on rivals. He ran the 200m dash in 21.48 as a junior, which is only .08 slower than Jeff Demps did as a senior. He outran Branden Smith by .11 at the Atlanta combine, and Smith is rated by Rivals as the fastest DB in country. None of the times were fast in Atlanta because it was a slow track, but he outran everybody including Smith. If he had done the 40 on one of these hand timed fast tracks that a lot of the other kids with good 40 times have, he would have a sub 4.4 time no doubt, possibly even low 4.3's. Rogers is for real. He is polished too. I dont think there are too many WR's that are more ready to play as Freshman than rogers. Maybe 10 or so. If he puts on a little bit of weight i think you will see him on the field. Crazy fast.

Julio Jones has stiff armed a lot of people this year. That being said, it would be wise to talk in absolutes about things you know about. I have seen him play several times last year and this year. He played hurt a lot this year as well.

He will. He will be playing D. Most likely SS.

Not a bad option. havent seen him live on O. But if he has the hands & head for football I wouldnt mind seeing him line up on the O side. Sounds like a good talent either way.

Some well respected guys have been saying they expect him to play as a freshman. Saying that he's the top player in the state.
