if JS doesnt play out, this is a good sign should we nab rettig.

All we should have to overcome is the loyalty feelings from BC offereing first when we were treating him like he was our 2nd option. If anybodys coaches can get it done, it's ours.

is it possible JS committed to USC? (silent) or do the coaches think that he will? just me speculating, i dont think thats the truth. i highly doubt JS has committed. but it is possible that the coaches feel he is a strong lean there. but if anyone can clear that up it would be appreciated.

it's all speculation from my understanding.

maybe this is a tactic by our coaches to apply a little pressure on jesse. it's currently some recruiting competition and if rettig commits then it would be some competition jesse could look forward to in college.

i didnt think of the competition point of view. thats good. i also just thought that this may have just been a ploy to keep Rettig from committing to BC today...

That and they've played for a national title 2 times in recent memory (of recruits), albeit they lost one... Its what the recruit see's; heisman trophy winners, bcs games, national titles etc...

I don't think Rettig will pass up the opportunity to play in the SEC. He commits by the end of the week/beginning of next week.
