'10 CA QB Chase Rettig

I meant in general. Not that particular link. Thank you UTvol1fn. A rubber ducky to the rescue yet again.

Whatever Mr. Love--It is on like donky kong---this doesn't end here :)

You can't keep your Rubber Ducky with you all the time!!!

What has happened, he got offered? I go to workout, and all hell brakes loose.

Per Rettig to ESPN, he has been offered. I like our chances, and if this kid keeps performing lights out at his camps and into his SR year, he could really help us bring in some skill players as well. Gotta be positive!

I am just afraid now that we have offered, some of the schools out West will start offering Chase and make it not such a "sure thing" that he commits here.

If we did offer, he will be a vol. No doubt. This may end up being a good move before its all over.

compare the talk about him on the BC board to the chatter on the Vol boards

Here's 2 posts from that board that I thought were interesting:

Any time a kid says he was waiting on offers from USC and Tenn and then gets the Vols offer you can kiss him goodbye. Factory all the way now.

I don't beleive a word of that BS about almost committing to BC. This kid is Tenn #1 and he is really hoping for USC. BC was the fallback. Since Tenn offered see yah Rettig.
When BC has to really get down and battle for a recruit with some other schools how come they are not winning the battles? Do they not have the right game plan? Lack of weapons?

There's not much confidence in Mass. right now...

for an ACC "power" they sure have no confidence in themselves. i tend to agree with them in this situation however...

id say their QB situation is in deeper shambles than our own. only unproven freshmen left. their best QB transfered out for academic(?) reasons. we at least have 2 QBs, they just havent, um, done so well..yet. hopefully.

I would not discount them. They have similar depth problems and they did not play Scroggins game. If he does not commit by end of week to us I would be really worried.

well, i feel ok in that department. we have an early lead. if you read the ESPN article about the signing, he said that once he makes his decision, he wants to stick to it. right now, its UT v BC. no need to say whos leading.
