He can kick the living Bejeebus out of the ball. I can't remember who it was on our team that routinely kicked the ball beyond the end zone. Was it Chapman?

wearing an orange UT polo today according to James Bryant.

That lock sign has jinxed us in the past ala Evan Hailes.

I hope you are right. Will we have two commits in one day?

For the record, I can't ever remember using the term lock on this forum before, but this one is in the bag.

He is comfortable at Tennessee and has the support of the people around him. It's a done deal.

Announcement coming on or around Thursday.

Besides his on-the-field talent, he seems to have really good people around him---his parents, Coach Conrad and the rest of the Aquinas staff.

...a good guy to join the program.

When he kicks off can it go farther than the 15 -10 yard range? I want someone who can kick it in or near the end zone again

#1 K in nation according to some

95% into the endzone is unreal

although he is kicking from the forty.... yea i saw kicks going thru the back of the endzone im just playing devils advocate i guess but i cant wait to have this guy on board

Remember, he is kicking for the 40 yd line in HS. Those kicks will be 10 yards more shallow since colleges kick from the 30 yd line. Still has a nice leg for only being a SR in HS.

Agreed. Very important get as well.

his kicks bombs already...and yeah its 10 yards back in college...his kicks are sailing past the endzone in hs as a 16yr old...wait til he is 18 or 19

I think the kick off duty is just as important as field goal range and accuracy. We have lacked a big leg for years now. I think the starting field position has been killing us for the last few years

So, there's a chance we get an even better kicker than Palardy in Acosta?

I suppose the coaches would take whoever commits first, right?

IF we take both..Palardy handles kickoffs
Acosta handles FG's (he has crazy accuracy)

Toss up to see who punts
