so i know this guy has been discussed almost to death but what was "the final word" on his situation? LV? Anyone? I would love to know what dooley thinks, if he even knows who kenbrell is.

Which is just stupid if you ask me. The guy clearly has zero desire to play for this team. He's not interested in any other SEC schools, so UT should just grant him his release and end this crap.

is he on campus or had any contact with the coaching staff? I feel like since chaney is already there, if he were to meet with dooley and bagget(especially) then i have no doubt whatever problems he has would quickly dissolve.

Not unless we bar him from signing with any other team we play in the next few years while he's here (which probably is a part of the problem in his case) - otherwise - I agree.

like eric said, he is still a Vol right now. imo it looks like we aren't going to release him. if we were, we would've done it quickly so Thompkins could be visiting schools and looking at other places of interest.

It seems a mystery what is really happening with him. If he does not want to play at UT then I'm not sure why UT would yank his chain like that.

Maybe Dooley and MH have just asked him to get to know Dooley and Baggett first? Maybe MH feels it would create ill-will with the EE's if he let him go so easily?

IMO there is no reason to release KT from his obligation. If he doesnt want to play for us, then he must deal with the consequences of wasting a year in order to get to another school.

Im wondering if Dooley's Legal background is bubbling to the surface on this one.
