Like I said sorry if I hurt anyones feeling about my observations. They do not mean anything except my opinion. I do hope the kid does good. But seriously why are you trying to bust my balls about this. I do speak my opinion and just do not copy and paste articles like everyone else on here. It is what I observed hope the kid turns out to be all american, but I was just not impressed

you're entitled to your opinion on a prospect, just like anyone else, but I don't see why the entire board has to get slammed because a couple people disagreed with you.

yeah, when you elevate yourself above the entire board, that is kind of an insult...

and for you to say that you're the only person on the board who develops his own opinions independently of the so-called experts is not only insulting, it's ridiculous.

...especially to anyone who spends a substantial amount of time not only on here, but on other boards as well.

Sorry I will never speak my opinion agian. I will just post articles that others have written time and time and time again. I forgot the point of a message board was for opinions and discussions.

Congrats on graduating 3rd grade buddy. Stop playing oh poor is me. Dude all they are saying is just dont act like you are the only person who knows anything. I post on here frequently and I dont post articles. So basically stop being a baby and just be respectful of those that work hard to get us up to date info day in and day out.

No actually there are a few on here that have there own sites and will inform us when they have a new article or interview up. Also I dont have the cash to pay for pay sites so when they come on here and inform of the news I appreciate it. If you dont then go back to the pay sites and get off this board. It is very simple. But seriously dude just get over yourself. You only criticise but never break any big info yourself. So basically shut it and move past this constant downgrading of recruits.

IMO, I wouldn't call it stealing if they paid for the service. I also believe that most posters provide links to where they got the info so that would give credit to the person that wrote the article as well.

TJ seems he is so smart and mad I posted my opinion about Pairs highlight video as horrible. I told why. Then he said I bring nothing to the board and I told him that He is right i put my opinions and not steal info from pay sites. Then Bwilli40 chimes in about how he is poor and cant afford the sites and appreciates the info. Then I dropped it but they just kept giving me crap so I blew up and fully expect a ban or punisment of some sort.

I couldn't care less what you think of the prospect. I thought your remarks, which were directed at the board, were hostile and unnecessary.

I care not about the quality of your posts, but the civility of them.

I never discouraged you from posting your opinions on a player.

New article on Marquis if you're a Scout subscriber. Kid is growing, up to 6' 6" and weighing 280 lbs. now according to his coach, still loves the Vols and fully committed to the Big Orange. Marquis appears to have a very bright future, also has been upgraded to 3 star status for those that care about the rankings stuff.

Offensive lineman Marques Pair (6-6, 260) of Sumter, who is a Tennessee commitment, has had some contact from USC but no offer from the Gamecocks. He has picked up an offer from Hampton and is hearing from Auburn, North Carolina, Liberty and Columbia. He says his commitment to Tennessee remains firm.

I would hate to lose Pair, but I don't think it would hurt that bad. The staff obviously loves him but he's pretty much in the same category as Cameron Clemmons. It's probably 2012 before either one would make a huge impact.

I think we're in more dire need of interior linemen anyway. The tackle positions looks like the future is bright, but the immediate depth is lacking. Douglas is looking like he's going to lock-down the LT position for the next 3 years, and Shaw returns next year. Schoefield and Dallas Thomas could also be nice sleepers & depth for next year.

And let's not forget that Eric Maclain is a likely 5* LT prospect in 2011 with unbelievable talent. With his size and supposed athleticism, he may be able to contribute from day 1.

LV I am not expecting him to be with us on NSD. That is because I am expecting him to decommit. This staff is classy and will not embarass him, but JuWuan James was not a remote possibility and neither was Morgan Moses when they took his offer.

The way he performed at camp, he was definitely impressive. I definitely think there are still bigtime offensive linemen on our board, but I never just blatantly want to lose a committment. I think despite his so-called "star" status, he's better than players we have on campus right now.
