Still early enough. Before it was pretty much strictly bama and lsu. So don't count us out. Have hope in the cajun.(and his red bull)

Coach o's number 1 priority. This one isnt over until he says yes to TN or sends the fax in to someone else. TN has made a huge leap in this kids mind. We are definitely in the race. Maclin has already said Coach O is recruiting him harder than anyone period and he has been extremely impressed and flattered.

whats this kids deal? He must be anti UT or something to be from Tennessee and name literally every one of our opponents in his top 5. I say let him go...

I thought this staff was supposed to be good at recruiting. If this staff can't secure the few talented players in the state, then rough waters are ahead.

Lol - nothing wrong with the staff. Just a problem with the kids in Tennessee. Some of the kids in West and Middle Tennessee grow up hating Tennessee - why? Who knows.

I see it a lot in Chattanooga as well. There are as many Bama fans there as UT fans... quite a lot of Georgia ones too and Florida.

But when you go into Bama - for whatever reason - they mostly pro-Bama kids.

That's frustrating.

Its the same here in Louisiana. These kids only care about LSU and, to a small extent, Texas and wherever Saban is coaching.

Either this guy is high off his a** or Maclin is high off his a** for putting memphis and vandy in the top 5. I've never seen anything about those two but who knows.

Just probably one of those Tennessee kids that grew up as one of the people who thinks it's cool to hate UT and pull for other out of state teams.

If Memphis and Vandy are in his top 5 that means he really has a top three and needed two space filler teams so that he could be cool and have a top 5

His father played for Memphis, his mother attended Memphis and a current Tigers assistant coach lives in Maclin's neighborhood. "Everybody I'm around went there," Maclin said. "I also like the fact that I'd play right away there. Plus, it would be nice to be close to home."

:crazy: If this Dude goes to Memphis God Bless and good luck with that! I love the city of Memphis grew up there,but never wanted to play football for the team! Granted they may have gotten better,but who wants to go to the blue boonet bowl :crazy: The Vols will one day soon have a National Championship

That another thing I grew up in memphis! I looked forward to the Vols in football season, and the Memphis State Basketball in Basketball season! People in Memphis Love UT Football :rock:I graduated in 97 and UT Football owned the state i don't know what happened

The cool thing for Tennessee high school kids to do is root for whoever is playing against UT. Its really frustrating to walk through tennessee schools the day before Florida or Alabama games and see 10x more Gator or Tide gear than Vol stuff.

My son would not be allowed to leave our house wearing Gator or Tide gear. Not that he would want to anyways. I see what you are saying though.

Just like the few Bama fans I know that did not go to bama, have no family in bama and actually have never even been to bama, but they don't like the vols because they are die hard bama fans. I might not be the smartest guy in the world, but that is just plain stupid. Some people just like being different or rebellious to bring attention to themselves.
