I was very impressed with Coach Kiffin and his entire coaching staff. I keep in touch with their coaching staff a lot. Their offense is very quarterback friendly. I was truly impressed with the sincerity of their entire staff. Coach Kiffin really cares about you as a person and not just a football player.

They [Tennessee] are recruiting me as hard as anyone, they definitely made a lasting impression on me on my visit and how they are recruiting me.

I think now that the coaches can start calling players again, you will start to see UT talked about lot more...

For those who are getting their panties in a wad over the lack of recruits we are getting in comparison to x school. We are going to do just fine and. We will also get a great QB recruit. Phone lines arenopen again and we got two commits in three days. O and W game will produce more. Any prospect we have our sights on will be within our grasp

just got an e-mail saying Bryant has joined the Tennessee portion of Scout. if this first interview with Heaps is any sign of things to come, I'm pretty excited to have an extra source for Vols news.

Scout.com: Heaps names Top-5

Heaps told the Dawgman.com crew that his final five, in no order, are BYU, California, Tennessee, Washington and LSU. And he added that while his top-10 remained fairly fluid, this top-5 is solid, barring any unforeseen developments.

It's expected Heaps will announce his final choice at some point before the summer.

This is good, they better keep after him hard. Although I assumed we would make top 5 I'm not so sure about top two though. Does anyone know if he's planning to narrow it down more before his decision.

He loves UW and grew up a fan... thats kind of like if one of us was being recruited we were the #1 QB that like USC or some1 wanted and we also had an offer from tennessee...

i'd be going to tennessee in that situation so i don't think
"we are going to get the qb we want" just based on the merits of our program if the kid is a die hard fan of another team that has offered him

The thing about Washington though is that they have 0 talent around them and will be relegated to midway or the bottom of the Pac 10.

We'd have talent around him, in the best conference in the country.

His main goal is getting to the NFl. Where is that going to happen? Washington or UT?

Listen,

SEC has more players in the NFL, more TV time nationwide, better fan base, better talent, better coaches, hotter women, better stadiums, better everything.

He's coming to UT, based on the above info.

Wow he sounded real high on Tennessee, said a lot more about us than he did lsu or cal. Sounds like it's an Tennessee/BYU/Wash battle IMO.

out of all three schools itwould be a no brainer. If that's our major competition. I am even more encouraged.
