If he wants to get into the NFL he could choose either.
If he wants a heads up on what to expect from the NFL, then he chooses UT.
If he just wants to win a few games every year he goes to UW.
If he wants to win and make a name for him self he comes to UT.

In the end, I think he picks UT. Trying not to sound biased is hard though.

UW has a looooooong way to go before they can contend. With the uprising of UCLA and the Trojans remaining top tier. Whats to attract a top prospect to UW?

That's what I have been saying.

If he is a career minded individual and if he has any sense, he'll be in Orange and White.

The exposure he would get as the TN QB is ten times the exposure he would get at Washington. They are never on tv.

I'm sure this has been discussed but what role will his being a Mormon play with him?

Will he go on his mission 2 years after getting here...and if so won't that basically cancel out the benefits of landing him?

From what I read (unless I missed something) it doesn't appear that he will be taking a mission while in college.

UW fans and their disgustingly biased scout site always think they have the local kids locked up. Cal has done very well taking the top washington recruits away from UW.

Is he going to narrow it down to three before the summer? I'd like our chances of being in the top three with Washington and BYU. I still think we need to get him on campus one more time, but if he commits early then it is going to be tough to do that.

This is true. There is a UW bias on Scout which also explains Heap's ridiculous rating over there.

I would really like to land this guy early and then everything would open up for us recruiting wise...He would be a big draw for top receivers and O-linemen...Another piece of the puzzle to be filled....Come on Jake, You KNOW you want to......

Heaps has good film but I havent seen anyone throw the deep ball as pretty as Scroggins.

I just hope we get one of the two.

I have a feeling Heaps stock will continue to rise throughout the year. He's in a good position to move up in the QB rankings.

I'm hearing you guys have the lead and that the UW interest is basically throwing a bone to the home team.
