Give me LV's opinion over whoever this "Swan" character is.

Just because you are respected or have been correct once doesn't make you infallible. I've had to learn this the hard way with some of my sources. You put more stock in what some say than others based on who they talk to and who they are.

LV's source on Kimbrow has seen the recruiting board. There's no doubting the info.

Exactly. This attitude / outlook on recruiting is how your program quickly falls to the bottom 3rd of the SEC.

It's just stupid to even bring up an argument like this, because coaches aren't this dumb. In the SEC you are ALWAYS looking to increase your level of talent no matter who you have on campus.

What's more laughable is people actually thinking Tennessee, currently near the bottom of the league in terms of overall talent would be doing this.

CJC: "Hey Coach, I think we've got too many of these shifty players with breakneck quickness and speed."

CDD: "Dang! You're right! How'd both these guys get scholarships??? We shoulda picked up that slower guy with the Vandy and MTSU offer. I usually offer after I see what Vandy does with a a kid."

All the coaches needed was to see him workout in person, the offer was coming for weeks.

Just talked to Brian Kimbrow and Will Redmond and they both said they had a good time on campus.

Redmond said the coaches told him he will receive an offer but that they don't hand them out while kids are on campus so now he said he's just waiting on the phone call.

Redmond added that he was really surprised by how much he liked the trip and how good it went.

Kimbrow said the visit helped Tennessee and he was able to spend time with coach Chaney.

Been behind on this one, I noticed all the recruting sites in the OP don't have him ranked. Where do you think he will end up and what position are we recruting him for?

I think he'll eventually end up a 5.8 4 star and I think we want him as a CB.

Redmond told the Ole Miss Rivals site that his top schools in no particular order are Ole Miss, Miss State, Vandy, Clemson, Tennessee, & UNC.

Redmond said his decision will be made with family and education in mind.

"One thing that's going to set it apart is people who have graduated from that school, are the coaches still keeping in contact with them?" Redmond said. "Are the alumni still good? It's stuff like that, stuff that's going to be after school, not just right now."

It seems like this story has been a long time coming. Glad he finally got his scholly. If they both commit somewhere else now after all the debate about Kimbrow, I'm going to find out where they both live and egg their houses. lol
