'12 TN ATH Will Redmond (MSU verbal commit)

Carlos Younger made some horrible predictions last year. Can't exactly remember the names tho. I wouldn't pay any attention to it

About the only thing he's ever gotten right was Devrin Young...he's been hanging his hat on that one ever since and alot of people over there don't know or have willfully forgotten how many he's gotten wrong before

“It was great to get that offer from Tennessee,” Redmond said. “Now that they have offered they are definitely in my Top 5, really they are in my top 3.

“I locked down every wide out that I went up against,” Redmond said. “I had a great performance there.”

“I like the coaching staff a lot,” Redmond said. “They are real. They are easy to talk to.

Carlos is a cool cat not everyone gets everything right all the time. He still brings a lot of info on TN kids. I'm not about to hate on anybody.

Really really hope we get Redmond.

Maybe if he commits soon, Kimbrow will follow.

He's a ballplayer. Very nice prospect with some good tools to work with. I think he has more physical talent than Tino Thomas from last year's class. His speed is legit. Man dude is fast.

My son attended the camp on June 5-8. Kid ran a 4.28 40! He's legit and only gonna get better!!! Won best attitude award while there, and is really outgoing. Great kid and definitely wat we're looking for, ball player, and character wise!

Great info! Thanks. 4.28:pepper:

I heard it was hand timed. He ran a 4.28 and only fell down twice before doing a cartwheel across the line. Vandy Lock

"It was good to go to these camps and most schools are recruiting me as a defensive back," said Redmond. "And defensive back is where I want to play. A lot of camps stuck out to me like the Ole Miss camp but the camps that really stuck out to me were Mississippi State, Tennessee and North Carolina."

"With the Tennessee offer, it definitely puts them up there with Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, North Carolina and Notre Dame," said Redmond. "After all these camps, I am going to really narrow it down. I am just looking at the people around these schools and see if I get the feeling of being at home when I am around their players and coaches. I want to decide in late July or early August so I am not focused on all of this in my senior year."

Do you think Redmond will lead to Kimbrow?

sheeeeesh. I know Kimbrow is a beloved in-state player and a good prospect, but he is the D Young of the boards this year. 1,000,000 threads about him and 9,000,000 more are hijacked into discussing him.

I would much rather have Redmond than Kimbrow. I would also much rather have Robinson than Kimbrow if he did not have academic problems.

Of course getting Redmond leads to Kimbrow.

mlsoft, you are obsessed with this anti-Kimbrow schtick much more than anyone else is pro-Kimbrow. Have you seen this kid? Have you seen his film? His offer list? There is a reason that he has big time offers from Saban, Chizik and dozens of other top schools. He has legit sub 4.4 speed and he's in our state!

People aren't on a Kimbrow kick because he's an instate guy. It's because he's an uber-talented instate guy.
