Even if these two aren't No.1 overall on our board we shouldn't let two playmakers with 4.2 speed get away. They are in our home state too which brings their value up to me. Kimbrow can play CB from what I've seen in his video. Wouldn't mind having a Cliff Harris on this team. He's better on offense but he can play CB.

The only people who can absolutely prove that is the coaching staff. Or, people on random pay sites who claim they've seen it or spoke to coaches about it. But, if hearing from the player himself, told by the coaches themselves, isn't good enough, I don't know what more I can prove. I don't really care anymore. Think what you want, but you look delusional.

Kimbrow and Redmond need to be Vols. Period.

Goldman is the #1 player on the overall board, but Kimbrow's name is at the top of the RB board, bulee dat.

i am not sure where Kimbrow would rank in the overall board ranking but it isn't #1.

Like I said, Kimbrow is good, but this class will not make or break without him. If it came down to a 5* DT and Kimbrow with one spot left, I am taking the DT.

The "whoever" is Swan. Not infallible, but his information is about as reliable as will be found on a message board.

I believe him not only because he said it but also because it lines up logically -- Kimbrow is probably better than Devrin (even that is not certain), but they are very similar players and what Kimbrow would add to our team over Devrin is marginal, at best, especially since neither is an every down back. With the low number of scholarships available and our needs at other positions (especially on DL and LB), signing Kimbrow is a luxury we probably cannot afford.

For the sake of our rebuilding efforts in the Memphis area, we had to offer him and we probably need to talk him up, but I do not think we will chase him all that hard. If he wants to sign with us, we will have to take him, but like the TOS poster said, it would not bother us all that much if we miss on him.

yall believe the coaching staff is that short-sighted?

how is it a problem to have speed guys who have similar strengths ? we are severely missing speed and talent and now we are "cool" if we miss on Kimbrow.

This is getting blown out of proportion. No one ever said we aren't pursuing Kimbrow. Swan Man just stated that if he did go elsewhere, the staff really wouldn't care. They want him, but he isn't the top priority that everyone believes he is.
