Redmond said his decision will be made with family and education in mind.
"One thing that's going to set it apart is people who have graduated from that school, are the coaches still keeping in contact with them?" Redmond said. "Are the alumni still good? It's stuff like that, stuff that's going to be after school, not just right now."
Redmond's day at camp was good enough for the Vols to tell him an offer was on the way.
"they said they were going to offer me they just said they weren't going to do it at camp, so I'm just kind of waiting on the phone call right now, but I got the offer. I'm just waiting on the phone call to be sure," Redmond said.
With that, Redmond said the Vols offer was a big one for him.
"it feels great. It's the one I've been waiting on. Now, i can pretty much pin my schools down. That's the one I've pretty much been waiting on," Redmond said.
Now, he's just a few weeks from narrowing things down and having a top group moving into the season.
"I'll start after we take this long trip. We're going to be gone for eight days and when we come back we're going to narrow it down," Redmond added.
That long trip includes stops at several potential suitors such as Clemson, North Carolina, Miami, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, Notre Dame and possibly LSU.
"I'm looking forward to going on this one because it's mostly my schools that we're going to see on my list. But, after this one, I'm pretty much done," Redmond offered.
