'12 TN ATH Will Redmond (MSU verbal commit)

Is it just me or does it seem easier to find these kinds of athletes in Tennessee over the last few years? They may not be elite when compared to what Florida or Georgia produces, but I remember a time when it was hard to find a cornerback with this kind of speed from this state.

The next step is for more high level Division 1 D-Linemen to consistently come from TN, imo.

Yes, the talent is on a slow steady upgrade. Quality coaching and increased money invested into high school athletic programs is needed to help develop these guys and show athletes that they could have a future if they get serious.

Seems Redmond and Kimbrow want to be packaged together....Dooley do the work..we need Kimbrow's speed.

He should get that offer he is looking for. It's nice to stert to get Memphis kids onboard.

"Mississippi State is definitely in my Top 3 now," said Redmond. "I am not sure who else is in there until after my other visits. But Mississippi State is in there and they are not coming out. I am also looking at Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Clemson, too. I want to be done by the end of this month with my visits and then make a decision in mid-July."

If Redmond and Kimbrow are a package deal then my guess is Vandy leads since Vandy is in both of their top schools. It will be interesting to see if TN offers.
