Same. Though I didn't realize he was 360. I thought he was around 340 and the coaches would try to get him down to around 325.
I bet after a season or two his playing weight is closer to 335-340. Should be a beast once he hits the weight room a bit.
That's still too fat. Charles would be epic at 300-310. I lost 30 pounds in 6 months, and I was only 215. Charles is 360, he could probably lose up to 60 lbs in this redshirt year. He has to work very hard though.
Why is it when people lose weight they expect everyone else too?
He is a DT, he is 6'6" and weighs a ton. He will lose some weight in our S&C program but will also gain a ton of muscle. I see him playing around 340lbs. He is quick for a big guy so there is no reason for him to drop 60lbs.

He doesn't need to get down to 300 IMO. I think his ideal playing weight is around 315-325ish. That is good size for a clogging/run-stuffing DT. He's got a lot of potential once he gets himself into shape. And I don't think he is still 360. I believe I remember reading that he was around 340 the last time he was asked about it in an interview. I may be mistaken but I believe I remember reading that unless some new info has come out since then that I missed.
Iirc he played basketball so he has to have decent movement. If this is the case, then I agree with 315-25 being his playing weight. Seems to be about ideal size or his frame.
Whatever his current weight is, I don't think the coaches will try to make him lose too much weight. 25-30 lbs seems to be about the max I'd expect. Mosley is big, but he doesn't carry a whole lot of bad weight really.
Im prepared to die right now, at the moment. Thats the only thing Im feeling right now, Mosley joked as he prepared to move in to his dorm earlier this week.
Ive been talking with (fellow Tennessee defensive-line signee) Derek Barnett. Thats the only thing weve been talking about, is like, Coach (Butch) Jones is going to kill us, so Im just preparing for the worst right now. But Im going to take it all with a big smile.
Mosley said hes not sure exactly what he weighs right now as recently as last month, he was down to 340 pounds but he can see a little bit of difference in how he looks, and people recently have told him that he looks slimmer.
People tell me I look skinny, he said. I dont know. I think theyre lying to me.
But he said he still expects do to plenty of running once he gets into Vols strength and conditioning coach Dave Lawsons summer program.
They just told me (after signing day) to run, Mosley said. When I came up there for the spring game, thats all I heard was, Run. When I saw Coach Jones, the first thing he said was, Run. When I saw (defensive line coach Steve Stripling), he said, Run. I saw Coach Strips wife, (and she said), Run.
