Used to be a Vandy lean. I can see how a guy with his skill set would want to go there with their offense. Except that Vanderbilt sucks. And UT seems to be only taking on TE this season.

Not sure if it was posted here but Elder visited with him last week. Ohio State, Kevin Steele, and Pat Fitzgerald were there also.

This kid is the real deal. Tenacious, physical, athletic, hands, and smart(4.0 GPA). Six SEC offers plus OSU, FSU, Miami, Clemson........he really is blowing up. We will regret not taking this kid if we let him pass. IMO.

Especially with him saying in interviews he is hoping to get the UT offer. Could just want the state school offer, could be he wants to actually be a Vol. IMO, it's time to focus on this kid as our 2015 TE.

"It was a great trip," said Harris of his weekend at Florida. "I got to spend some time with the coaches and look around and I really enjoyed it."

Next up Harris will check out Alabama in two weeks before a few other colleges. After that he plans to narrow his list down heading into the summer months.

"I am for sure going to visit Clemson and Georgia again and then Vanderbilt since it's just down the road," Harris told Inside the Gators. "My goal before the school year is over to have my list cut down to five. I will camp at most of those places and then take a few officials before I decide."

"I have three big things that I go into each of my visits looking for," explained Harris. "Academics are big because I have a 4.0 GPA, will enroll early and plan on majoring in engineering. The offensive system and whether it fits my abilities and if I can pick it up quick is another thing. Then just the coaching staff because I want to enjoying the time I spend with the people coaching me."

Doesn't mention UT at all. Our staff must really like other OOS TE's a lot more than this kid. Hope we land Clark or Hentges.

I can't answer the first one but I do know he has asked the coaches that question...just don't know what they said. The second one, I'm not sure it would be that easy but it sounds like he really likes UT. However, if we want him we need to do that very soon.

I think he's babyavi.. He used to love attention/being weird and babyavi loves it so much that he ripped off somebody's actual nickname on here to get it..

Which is almost as weird as getting your sn from ur friends sons actual name (supposedly)

I find it strange that we haven't offered, but if there's one staff in the country I trust to make the correct decisions, especially in recruiting, it's ours. This time last year I would've been freaking out a little bit, but Butch and co. know what they're doing.
