I don't think Kendall has any real problem with competition. Based on what he said he was more concerned about CMB leaving because he had such a good relationship with him. And his recent comments indicate he seems to feel more comfortable with the situation after speaking with Debord. I think he still very much wants to be a Vol at this point.

At one point in his recruitment Austin mentioned one of the QBs may be playing another position. Obviously he would be talking about JJ. Its reasonable to assume the coaches told him that to help get him to commit. Once he sees that JJ will be lined up at QB, We'll have to see what he has to say.

Those recent VQ tidbits sound like they are laying the groundwork for JJ's move to S

Tylin has now been awarded an 88 rating from 247. He is currently the 21st ranked Pro Style QB on their board (9th composite). Strange that they are categorizing him as a Pro Style as opposed to a DT, considering that he rushed for about 75 yards a game and 8 rushing TDs last year and is both very fast and very elusive.

Perhaps, but he was just quoted as saying he had no problem with competition, so what does it matter if he will be competing with 3 rather than 2 QBs?
