LSU dad got me thinking about the whole star system. No doubt they do a good job in some cases, look at who usually wins. Also true tho that some kids don't get evaluated properly, or even at all because they don't pay money or travel across the country to go to camps.
WE HAVE THE NUMBER ONE recruiting budget in the known free world! sorry hit caps lock, just went with it. 0 excuses for not getting the horses. anyone whos ok with just two and three star players after three consecutive bowl wins, 9-4 seasons are just not being realistic. it is frustrating.
My post didn't have anything to do with that. LSU dad has been trying to expose the scam of these websites who make money off of high school kids and yet the kids don't see a dime. Plus some guys get rated lower who can't attend their camps and pay money to be evaluated. There are some serious concerns with the system. But carry on
How does this kid get an offer from the Vols to play RB and Chase Hayden doesn't?
Something isn't right here!
Can't predict how players are gonna end up. ..almost ever school missed on McCleskeythis isnt the first year we've seen some questionable commits. cant quite remember if Joc Bruce / Vincent Perry were blueshirts but I know we passed on two very talented but undersized WR who really wanted to wear orange. TJ Rahming and Jalen McCleskey. both put up good numbers this yr - Rahming 700+ yards, McCleskey 800+ yards

welcome to TN son, congrats.
We are dropping even if we add a couple 4*.
Probably not as far as you're thinking though. Teams are filling up and we are still top 10.
Offer list is a better way to judge. Most of Butch's 3 stars have good offer lists. There are a few exceptions though
Definitely dropping no matter what.
I think it will be outside the top 15. As is, this class would have finished 19 and 20 the last two years. Major additions needed to be inside top 15.

We are 9th on Rivals.
Penn state, USC should jump us.
I'm not sure how many Clemson and ND can take but they should rise. Miami could jump us. Auburn maybe. UCLA maybe.
Stanford has plenty of space left but are a ways behind us.
We are gonna finish around 15 and there's not a huge gap in 11-19 iyam.
Possibly. If you look at average star ratings the difference can be fairly significant IMO unless it is just a small class.
Bama is just unreal right now.
Clemson and Stanford might not jump us based on how many they take but both classes are elite.
