'18 TN QB/WR Alontae Taylor (UT commit 6/18/16)

I just do not get how he can fail to be above average WR coach not just here, but at Florida too, yet someone at Chicago thinks he can coach their WRs.

Me either i was dumbfounded but i also knew he wasn't happy about the OC selection either. Definitely didn't think he'd get an NFL job.

Just shows the difference in casual fans prospective vs football circle. Volnation didn't think he was good enough to coach here but Chicago Bears think he is.

as an outside LB coach. Really makes me wonder if the Bears are having trouble getting coaches.

“Me and my coach talked after (defensive backs) coach (Willie) Martinez had left and went to Cincinnati about the possibility that Coach Z would leave,” Taylor said. “We were prepared for this, and I want to let everyone know I have a good relationship with (offensive coordinator Larry) Scott and (offensive line) coach (Walt) Wells, but a great relationship with Coach Jones.

“Now that both of the coaches I was recruited by Tennessee are gone, I want to let every program know that I am open to everyone. I not only want to find the right school, but I also want to be able to find that coach that I know I can build not only a relationship with, but one that’s going to make me a man I want to be for the next four to five years after football.

“With all that being said, I’m still committed to the University of Tennessee, but I’m open to all schools.”

“I feel that, if I didn’t have the relationship that I have with Coach Jones and Coach Scott or Coach Wells, I would be looking at a decommitment right now,” Taylor said. “But I have so much trust in those guys that they’ll bring in the right guy.

“I want to stay committed, and I'm going to wait and see who Coach Jones brings in, and I’m going to try to build that relationship with that new wide receiver coach. But if I feel that there’s not a good relationship building between me and him, or my feeling's a little bit different with Tennessee, then I’ll start to look elsewhere.

“But for now I’m still committed, and I’m just going to sit back and wait and see who he hires and what kind of relationship I can build with that coach.”

Also from the 247 article, it sounds like LSU, UGA, and GT are the main schools that are contacting him.

Let's hire the right guy and keep this guy because he's fixing to be a deadly player for someone hopefully us

I think we are good as long as Butch doesn't hire some obscure buddy he went to the disco club with on Saturday nights during his Ferris State days.

Again, not just us, Florida did not think highly of him either, plus he did not show much production here or Florida.

as their D coordinator

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) – The Chicago Bears hired three assistants on Wednesday, bringing in Vols assistant Zach Azzanni as receivers coach, and Chattanooga Mocs defensive coordinator Brandon Staley as outside linebackers coach and Derius Swinton II as assistant special teams coach.
