The Braves are attempting to trade Javier Vazquez but he has a partial no-trade clause when it comes to West Coast teams due to family and friends in Puerto Rico. All bets are still on Derek Lowe being dealt; an extension would be in the works for Vazquez.

Can't imagine why anyone would sign Bradley's existing at this point, a .277 lifetime hitter who has more attitude than anyone else in the game. He has been in the bigs 9+ seasons, played now for 8 teams and sits about 40 games a year.

-The Mike Lowell to Texas deal fell through due to discovery of surgery to his bad thumb.

-Nick Johnson reunites with the Yankees. Meanwhile, Johnny Damon's days' as a Yankee maybe over due to his money demands, Giants are a possible destination.

A couple of move bits:

-The Rangers get back a pitcher that started with them in Darren Oliver

-The A's decided to get the outfielder with the cereal name (Coco Crisp)

If you haven't heard, the Braves dumping continues with the trade of starting pitcher Javier Vazquez to the Yankees for OF Melky Cabrera.

For more further discussion on this travesty, go to the Atlanta Braves Thread or for gloaters, the Yankees thread.

-The Angels added pitcher Fernando Rodney
-The Phillies added a mystery reliever believed to be Danys Baez
-The Jays traded a reliever to get Brandon Morrow from Seattle
-Capps may be DC bound
-The Giants have reached out to DeRosa
-The Pirates are looking at Notel Dotel to close games

If the they trade Adrian Gonzalez to Boston, the Padres should probably just liquidate everything and get out of baseball.

They would actually get two fine players in Ellsbury and Buchholz. However, the Sox are not sure they want to part with Ellsbury.
