2016 SEC MLB Draft Thread

That's worth looking at for the Yankees.

Did they take any high profile hs guys in the 11-14th rounds?

Yankees:
11. Connor Jones- UGA jr
12. Taylor Widener- USC jr
13. A TCU pitcher that is a jr
14. A kid from IMG Academy

The 14th round kid is the key. I looked him up and he is signed with West Virginia. He doesn't appear to be a real high profile draft and with him going to prep school grades might be an issue

I am going to guess he signs for 100k which doesn't help us with liggy

Did they take any high profile tough sign kids in the later rounds?

Honestly Blake is key. If they use up most of their bonus on him, it doesn't matter

Gotta wonder if this changes the game with Kevin O'Sullivan if a deal isn't signed.

Where can we go(website) to get these draft signing figures for players? Not the slot values for the draft but the actual signing figures. Thanks!

I haven't seen the list but it will come out soon. I will post it but not sure it's out yet

That's a lot of $ for a senior

Good news with liggy

@JonathanMayo: 3 more sr signs for @Yankees, all for 10K: Keith Skinner (7th); Dalton Blaser (8); Trevor Lane (10). Total savings today: $755K. @MLBDraft

I've a couple more signings. Some of them don't have $ amounts. I will add them when I see them.

Also, the Yankees think the can sign Rutherford. I believe it was the NYTimes that had that article today.

I like the following from the 1st article linked:

Sixth-round pick Brooks Kriske is expected to sign, while 16th-round pick Zach Linginfelter "probably won't sign."

See you in Knoxville next season buddy.
