Yeah, but Kentucky has the #1 RPI. I definitely don’t think Kentucky deserves to host, but I would be stunned if the #1 RPI team was sent on the road.

I thought Kentucky was down to RPI #2

Anyway, I just did Warren Nolan looking at road/neutral….you gotta scroll through 229 teams before you find a record as bad as ours. We need to own that one, as fans, as a team, as a staff. I’m not looking for an explanation because I don’t think there is one.

I’m fine with not hosting as long as Kentucky is not a host. How you finish a season has to matter and few teams in the conference has a worse last 6 weeks than Kentucky.

Whichever team has quality left handed pitching. Our lineup is too left handed dominant and gets shutdown by left handlers. Happened against Notre Dame last year and happened yesterday. Not sure which teams that would be. I know Arkansas and Wake have some.

I was surprised to learn this… after the 1st 16 seeds, they place teams regionally. For instance, the 17th ranked team doesn't go the 16th seed site.

If Coastal Carolina is a host....that's where I would want the vols to go.

Don’t care much where we go, we know we have what it takes to advance. If we play well it won’t matter where we are, and same for if we don’t play well. Although it would be nice to be close for fans to travel.

I wouldn’t want to be a Top 16 seed and have to host Tennessee. Nobody wants to see the Vols coming.

Why? They’ve beaten some good teams this year. They’ve also lost to some good teams. Do you think they’re ranked too high?

Texas’ record versus the SEC this season is 0-4. We have identical records, overall. If they get the last spot it’s because of regions, not body of work.

I think Texas gets bounced the first weekend. Potentially in 3 games. They’ve lost to anyone with remotely similar talent.

I would be delighted to see 9 SEC teams hosting, and 8 SEC teams in Omaha. What a trip that would be.
