Partisanship in Congress is a huge problem on both sides of the aisle. Obama couldn't get immigration reform done either and he had a veto proof Congress.

But that's not what this administration is all about. This administration is literally going to court to give them permission to remove walls/fencing which the state of Texas has put up in order to curb illegal immigration. That's pretty much a smoing gun that this administration doesn't care about secure borders and has nothing to do with Congress

Nikki Haley in 2015: Americans Should Not Call Illegal Aliens ‘Criminals’ Because ‘They’re Not’​

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R), now running in the Republican presidential primary, previously said Americans should not describe illegal aliens “as criminals,” suggesting that doing so is “disrespectful.”

In July 2015, a month after then-GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump announced his candidacy with a speech centered on stemming illegal immigration, Haley joined a panel with the Aspen Institute moderated by then-CEO Walter Isaacson.

Isaacson, in his final question, asked Haley “As a family of immigrants from India, how does that inform your thinking on the immigration debate and what do you feel about the tone of the immigration debate as it has recently turned?”

Haley, in response, said that while Americans are rightfully frustrated with illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border, she urged the audience not to use language like “criminals” to describe illegal aliens because “they’re not.” She said:

All the liberals are getting behind Haley...because she isn't a conservative. She isn't even a Republican except in name only. What she vehemently desires is WAR. WAR.WAR. She will stop at nothing to get it, and does not bother to pretend to want anything else. At least she is honest about it. Shes a wolf in sheeps clothing...a Trojan horse. Thank God the only way she gets the nomination is if the libs manage to make Trump disqualified somehow.

Republicans trying to make a big deal out of Hunter Biden lawfully taking a few million from a Ukrainian company. How about we focus
on the gangster's son-in-law using his fraudulent White House position to, first, talk Qatar into giving him a huge sum of money to bail out his terrible investment in 666 Fifth Avenue just before a huge loan payment was due; and then, second, he talked Saudi Arabia's corrupt crown prince and a few other Mideast countries into giving him $3 BILLION for a new Kushner investment fund. Kushner has no private equity experience and is not even a good real estate man---he inherited the business from his father, who is a convicted felon. The board of the Saudi sovereign wealth fund voted against giving billions to Kushner, but the crown prince--who, let's remind, ordered the murder and dismemberment of one of his own citizens in a Saudi consulate because the man wrote columns criticizing the corrupt Saudi regime for the Washington Post---overrode the board vote and gave the baby-faced corrupt clown $2 billion anyway. Other Mideast countries--including Qatar, again, plus some foreign entities that have never been identified--chipped in another $1 billion. And it was all done to curry favor with the gangster's administration--corrupt sheiks playing the corruption game. Oh, my! But, yea, let's yodel about Biden's son--who was a private citizen, not working in the White House in violation of nepotism rules like Kushner, getting a pittance by comparison, and legally. Who pedddled influence? That would be Kushner.

Pointless? You're not very keen. It's high-level influence peddling. They are foreign countries putting money into the gangster's business (and thus the gangster's pocket). It's high-level corruption--as they are doing the gangster a favor and would expect favors, and favorable treatment from his administration in return. The same with the D.C. hotel that the gangster should have sold after his election but, of course, didn't. More influence peddling, which equals corruption Same with the gangster taking a huge presidential entourage to stay at one of his resorts every weekend, or ever other weekend. That's major corruption. Public officials are not allowed to profit from their position--but the gangster did so in multiple ways, and transparently. Hiring his kids for White House positions for which they weren't remotely qualified? More corruption. The man reeks of dirt--and his own soiled diapers.

Trump and DeSantis Zone In On Haley With Just 11 Days Until Iowa​


Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis played tag team Thursday to attack Nikki Haley for her stance on the border and her attitude to Iowa, cementing her status as the candidate most likely to cause an upset in the nomination race.

The former president and the Florida governor have both stepped up their criticism of Haley as she surges upwards in the polls.

The Trump campaign on Wednesday launched its first TV attack on Haley in the state of New Hampshire, which she is targeting for a win.

'Confirmed warnings of terrorists sneaking in through our southern border,' the narrator says. 'Yet Haley joined Biden in opposing Trump's visitor ban from terrorist nations. Haley’s weakness puts us in grave danger. Trump's strength protects us.'

DeSantis also went on the attack after Haley appeared to write off Iowa's Republican voters when she told voters in New Hampshire they had a chance to correct the result in Iowa, where Trump appears on course for a big win.

'We have an opportunity to get this right,' she told a large crowd in Milford. 'And I know we’ll get it right, and I trust you. I trust every single one of you.

DeSantis said it suggested Haley knew she was in for a drubbing in Iowa.

'I think it was incredibly disrespectful to Iowans to say somehow their votes need to be quote corrected,' he said during an interview with am Omaha radio station.

'I think she's trying to provide an excuse for her not doing well.'
