2024 Presidential Race

I blame the independents who think they are being noble by staying out of party politics. They allow 15% of the voters to control either party and pick a candidate that most of us don't want.

Issue is that there are MORE elections than just the one every 4 years. Those other elections often help determine future candidates for Congress, State higher offices, and even eventually President. If people kept up with all of the election and candidates that would help.

We have no unified cultural identity as well. Not sure if WASP culture is the best but when it was our primary culture, it helped. No purple hair, Communist type people in 1950, 1890, 1840, 1790, etc. Same was true for Proud Boys/Neo-Nazi crew although you had KKK unfortunately.

If we get social issues out of politics, it might help.

So Mr Trump suffered a 'defeat' this week.

Maxim number 3 here is applicable:
"If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam."

Unfortunately, the Republicans will start to sit back like they always do because the polls are swinging our way and we will get president Cackles the Ho Clown.

There are many reasons why you shouldn't vote for Biden, but that's not one of them
Inflation is a major concern for most of the American population. We can debate who’s to blame as the Dems say it began with Trump while the right blames Biden and his policies.

Seems you are coming around to some actual thought.

The entire world knows what weak dicks the Marxists are in this country, and that a weak America means a weak world. It's people like you that want us to be weak.
I think we may have had completely opposite interpretations of the significance of those tweets.

True, but consider this:
I'm stopped at a traffic light where the speed limit is 50. The light turns green. I press down on the accelerator until my speed reaches 50. I continue to press down on it until my speed reaches 100. Am I going over the speed limit because I pressed down on the accelerator between 0 and 50 or because I continued after I was going over 50. That answers the question of blaming Trump or Biden.

It began long before Trump and Biden. They just fed the beast steroids. 0% interest and massive deficit spending eventually will bite you in the ass

They were best friends for much of their life.

They had a tremendous falling out after the election of 1800 (as would be expected).

-Jefferson essentially called Adams a “soy boy”
-Adams accused Jefferson of “banging darkies”

It wasn’t until much later in life that they reconciled and began again their friendship.

Alexander Hamilton chose to support Jefferson over Burr and Adams. It's why Burr wanted to pop a cap in his ass...

Hamilton supported Jefferson over Burr - in the runoff in the House. He disagreed with Jefferson, but he despised Burr.

The Hamilton-Burr feud had been running for years, but came to a head in the aftermath of the 1804 New York election for Governor.
