2024 Republican candidates beside Trump

Don't count on that moving forward. You have a ton of liberals moving into Nashville as companies and individuals relocate from high tax states like New York and California. I expect Tennessee to flip blue in either 2024 or 2028.

I might reconsider my vote should TN become a tossup, then again I might not if the Rs resume running Bushites.

Nikki Haley will more than likely run as will Mike Pence. I could also see Rand Paul, Tim Scott, and Tom Cotton running. It wouldn't shock me if Trump doesn't run. I could see a few has beens testing the waters like Mitt Romney or Chris Christie.
Mitt Romney? He better be planning to run as a Democrat or a Green Party candidate. He's probably only marginally more popular amongst Republicans than AOC.

In TN the winner of a presidential election is a forgone conclusion, me voting for Jill Stein has no affect so my vote is not wasted.

In TN I'd agree it makes no difference and does make a statement of sorts. In GA it made a difference last time, and those other votes might just have well been cast for biden. Perot was the only independent in recent history with a chance, and he still only flipped the election from R to D. This really in many cases is simply down to fight fire with fire; in reality there are usually only two candidates and some spoilers, and dems vote as a bloc - they won't support an independent or minor/insignificant third party. If libertarians could find someone who made sense and stick around rather than popping up every 4 years, they might make a difference; but for now they just screw with the R vote and support the dems.

I can see a few has beens like Romney thinking they have a chance with with the thinking that as bad as Biden is just winning the R nomination should ensure a victory in the general.

The GOP should do itself a favor and tell Romney, Murkowski, and a few others they are no longer welcome and boot their butts out. It would be a breath of fresh air and stop some of the insanity.

That's the way some dems feel about their moderates.
And one wonders why there is not more moderation.

The single event that would cause moderation would be for the dems to purge their left wing. Of course, you and most dems wouldn't understand that because you don't believe all of the US political spectrum has done a left shift. The mid point is far left of where it was 50 years ago because leftist dems have overachieved - like volatile leftists always do.

Republicans would need to purge their right wing in equal fashion

Why would I believe such nonsense? None of my posts suggest it. SMDH at the extreme stupidity in your post

Careful, you don't want to break anything in there. Who would you suggest among the GOP congressional members with the exception of a GA nutcase is the equal of AOC, her klan, Waters, etc?

lol.......It would be for both sides to move away from their extremes. If you think the left will move away from its extreme without a balancing move by the right, you're living in fantasy land.

You take any 50 year period in our nation's history, and you will find a dramatic move to the left during those 50 years.
There is a natural movement left.

Has it ever occurred to you clowns that the left wants change and the right wants status quo? Which of those is extreme and demands someone else change a point of view? Movement isn't natural unless you believe the board is tilted and momentum doesn't exist ... except somehow you fools see a leftward change as progress - which it isn't.

Sad but true. Those 81M (allegedly) are going to vote for a dem regardless. Unfortunately the only counter to that for the foreseeable future is to vote for the GOP candidate; if you do anything else, you might as well have voted D. It's simply a matter of being dem or anti-dem.

 1. I don't believe for a second that 81M actually voted for Biden. Eliminate fraudulent mail in ballots cast and several million evaporate. Joe Biden got more than Obama in 2008 when people were writing weepy poetry about him? uh yeah sure he did.
 2. The ones that did actually vote, some voted for Ol Joe the moderate Biden. Thats not exactly what they got. Even so, I believe a significant portion of Biden's count voted against Trump instead of for Biden. I mean seriously, who got all dreamy at the idea of Biden/Kamala, even on the Dem side? nobody. Getting rid of Trump though - that motivated a lot of Dems and haunted their every waking moment.
So if DeSantis or someone else is the nominee Dems will be a lot less motivated to vote for Joe or Camel and if the mail order fraud operations are tamped down in swing states, then there will be nowhere near 81M again.

Several of the freedom caucus clowns.

It's funny watching you embarrass yourself

Wanting to maintain the status quo is more often than not the extreme position. (slavery, not allowing women the vote, kids working in sweat shops)
Trump was a proto-fascist that would burn this Republic to the ground for his ego. And there are a good portion of conservatives that would happily watch him do it.
Guffaw!
How're you feeling about your protest vote?

I think the stupidity is proposing there's a right-wing analogy to the violent Marxists and anarchists running amok in the party. There's no mirror there.

Unless you mean people who REALLY love the country vs those who REALLY hate the country; now you've a point.

You missed the context.

Since you brought it up, MTG really loves this country? Jim Jordan? I noticed in another post of yours where you take pride in being objective. That's the funniest crock of sh** I've read in this forum.

There's a reason no nation lasts forever. This move left will essentially end our great experiment if allowed to continue
