Hmmm Clark is rumored to want to play 5x5. If she chose this league she would decimate unrivaled before it’s even off the ground.
Nah. First and foremost, Unrivaled will have been off the ground and halfway thru when AU starts. Second, if anything decimates either or both it will be that they're happening in the heart of college wbb and March Madness. No contest there.
AU will also have the distinct disadvantage of obviously being the kid's table, full of hard working journeywomen while the top names are in Unrivaled. Witness Lexie Brown being the face of AU while Phee and Stewie are the faces of Unrivaled.
CC in AU would be interesting and no doubt drive up interest and attendance. OTOH, she would roll up huge numbers but it would be against the junior varsity. Not sure how helpful that would be to her development while risking injury. Probably the best thing for CC both mentally and physically this winter would be just rest. Step away from it all, train privately, have some fun, and rest.
I will say CC not being invited to Unrivaled, which is supposed to be the top 30 players in the league, would be an obvious purposeful overlook. And we don't know for sure she won't be invited, still 11 players to go and they promised 3 or 4 rookies and they only have 2 so far. Also, we don't know that she hasn't been invited and turned it down to follow my wise advice to just chill for a few months.
I didn’t want to respond but I can’t have u spreading lies, here’s Reese quote, just giving the fact, u don’t need to respond.
"The risk of not having surgery, I could literally have arthritis at 22 years old," she said. "That wasn't an option. … Long term, I literally could have not played any more because this is a very hard place to heal because the blood flow is, literally, zero to none. So that wasn't an option."
Angel and the Sky made the right decision in every aspect. Can't risk permanent injury, plus gives a sympathy angle and another physical reason/excuse for being an epically bad offensive player. This season wasn't going to get better for AR, this was the perfect time to call it a wrap.
Going to be interesting to see how AR does in full court 3 x 3 Unrivaled. Doesn't run the court all that well.
