Great play, great crowds, great viewership and what a damn relief to have it all free from the tiresome (see the threads here) manufactured drama and drama queens. I realize viewereship would be even more w the drama mamas and their Jerry Springer showdowns and I don't give a damn. Keep the other million and give me this blessed freedom from their (and mostly their fans') need to suck up all the oxygen and attention. Never been glader to have CC, Angel and the Aces GONE and "the rest" given a speck of room to exist.

Again it's been plain ole good basketball and good fun free of butt hurt and agenda. Who doesn't love the fun of Courtney Williams' Dad? Can't wait for Sunday night.

We get it IMO. It's a great Finals, I don't understand the need to throw shade at other players/teams in every conversation about it

What a great, fun series! This is what can happen when the social drama and agendas are laid aside and players just play and fans just fan. It's a big reason why I like the Lynx and Collier so much. They're always like this. Minimal flopping, flailing, or whining. In fact, Phee told the team they whined too much in game 2 and need to cut it out. Of course they'll stand up for themselves, but in comparison to all whine all the time teams like the Sun and the Fever, they're such a welcome relief.

OK I'll delete the post on the basis of repetition. I just can't get over it everytime I watch. It's so nice and refreshing to back to the basics.

Also, it's become clear that most don't read many if any previous posts anymore. That's an old school courtesy. I think proof of that is you not seeing drama in a couple of threads completely taken over by Angel vs CC the last few days, so much that a whole new thread about it started with the predictable and repetitve posts.

I wasn't saying you needed to delete or anything, I just understand the point by now. Yeah I didn't see the non-LV thread until after I posted (and it sounds like avoiding it is better for my sanity)

Completely coughed the bone so far. Probably come back w a vengance the second half. JJ's really been their most consistent player.

Minny reminds me of some of Geno's best teams fm the early 2000s. Smart, under control, constant movement and every movement is purposeful. Collier is one of the best movers wo the ball and cutters I've ever seen. They got great minutes fm Hindeman and again smart move to use Dorka.

Another wrong call and a huge one. BS on SI's shoulder, they clearly impeded McBride's clear path.

What are the odds, Stewie and SI are putrid 5-34, Vandersloot doesn't play, Laney Hamilton doesn't play the entire second half and the Liberty still wins. No one can take it away and few will remember, but it's really hard to say they deserved this, esp Stewie and SI. Just embarrasingly bad on ther parts and I pray neither is Finals MVP. Stewie once again missed both fts in a potential game winning situation.

OTOH, soon as I said the Lynx got good mins fm Hiedeman, she really hurt them in the second half and unfortuantely, Williams was equally bad. Their 3 pt shooting was also really bad. NY did really step up the D in the second half.

And every single call went NYs way down the stretch. Quite an odd game.

Tried to watch, had it on the whole game but that was abysmal basketball. Only caught a few minutes. No rhythm, no offense and a foul every minute and half.

Glad to see the Liberty get one, much deserved. Just wish it had been a little prettier for the viewers.
