First I hope Martin is a good coach, instructor, and mentor. After that I hope he exploits every legal advantage his particular background provides wether that be cancer survivor, NBA player, St. Louis, or his race.
If he doesn't do número uno the rest is kitty litter in the meat grinder of college athletics.

Thats a real good point. I had not thought of that but you are absolutely correct. Fla is the best program. That may change if K wins a nat champ this year.

Not feelin ya on this, UF has not been a contender for a couple of seasons now and UK history blows theirs away. UK is and will always be top dog in sec.

Since that 1998 season, UK has won the conference 5 times to Florida's 4. They have won the tournament 6 times to Florida's 3. Before that, 40-0/21-0 respectively.

There is also that pesky little issue of the Wildcats being in the final four right now.

I think we can chalk up easley's comment as wrongheaded.

If you dont think that him being black will help at all with some families then you really dont understand the mindset of some of the black families in the south very well. The OP said it may help he did not say 100% definitely will. It wont hurt as far as black recruits go i can tell you that much.

That's makes perfect sense why all those black kids from Memphis signed with the black coaches at Memphis (Coaches Cal and Pastner). Thanks for clearing it up. To address your later post calling everyone who doesn't see it your way clowns and calling out white people on keyboards. Again more sterotyping and racist crap, very becoming.
