Someone has lied to you. Nearly all countries limit abortion. You’d have a hard time finding a country that doesn’t. Where are you getting this lie that the rest of the world doesn’t restrict abortion!

We can start with our nearest countries:

Canada: limited to 24 weeks
Mexico: 12 weeks

We can then look at Europe:

Northern Ireland: 12 weeks
UK: 24 weeks
France: 14 weeks
Germany: 12 weeks

Japan: 9 weeks

Yes assuming you are using the general definition of bodily autonomy..seems the only body not having a choice is the fetus
..the parents chose and risky activity, they chose not to protect themselves..but the fetus with a heartbeat doesnt get a choice on whether they die?

What if one of those millions aborted potentially could have cured cancer, or ended world hunger? It about the potential of life and right to life. If we dont protect the most innocent among us, then we have lost what little morality that remain in the US

I think it only seems wild because of how extreme things are/were here for the last few decades.

Anywhere 12-16 I consider very reasonable.

The poster's intent seemed to imply that birthing persons (both trans male and biological female) should be the ones whose voices matter since they are the ones whose bodies are diectly impacted.

That logic would say that only black people's voices should have mattered before emancipation since they were the only ones who faced enslavement in America. That would have excluded the opinions of Caucasian abolitionists.

I’m not a republican….but I morally oppose abortion for myself and my family. I don’t believe you can legislate morality. Realistically people are going to get abortions legally or otherwise. Safety for the overall population says that it should be legal. I’ll worry about myself before G-d and allow everyone else to do the same.

Beyond that it’s up to the people of each state to decide.
