Ever heard the expression 'That's why they play the game'? If you are so confident that it will be a complete blowout, and if Oklahoma State makes it in, you should bet everything you own on LSU.

When great teams play location is irrelevant. These aren't the types of teams that worry about that crap. That is for the Oklahoma States of the world.

No one on LSU's level? Bama certainly is, especially with a retard like Jordan Jefferson playing qb. He looked like crap last night.

Bingo. 'If' Oklahoma State plays in a Jan 1st bowl and loses. Then your down to LSU and Bama as the clear number one and two ranked teams, and millions will tune in to see two of the biggest marquee names ever in college football that just also happen to have two of the biggest marquee coaches.

This is squarely in the hands of the Harris voters. If they bump OSU above Alabama, OSU will go to the NC. The computers love OSU, so there is little doubt in my mind that they will have the #2 in that.

At any rate, Alabama had their shot, and they lost. They deserve jack shat. And I will say it again, nobody, Alabama included, wants any part of LSU right now.

OSU had their shot too. It was called beat ISU. Hardly a grand request. I can assure Bama most certainly wants to play LSU. They were one great play by Reid from beating them last time.

I'll stick with what I've been saying since the first LSU/Bama rematch. A team that does not win its own conference should never play for the national title, period.

And? They both have one loss. OSU actually has a better resume, and they won their conference, but why let facts get in the way, right? Alabama didn't even win their division.

Looks like OSU will get in...They are on level with UGA I'd say. 42-10 NC here we come! So when OSU gets thrashed and everyone has the game turned off by the middle of the 3rd quarter will you be re-thinking your choice of a matchup?

Good grief. If you want the 2 best teams to play it is LSU and Bama. I can't help it if it is too mind boggling for you to understand that it is possible that the 2 best teams can exist in the same division.

Alabama maybe better than OSU, but we have to go on what we know.

Here is what we know:
OSU has beat more ranked teams.
OSU has beat more teams with a winning record.
OSU won their conference.
OSU lost at Iowa State.
Alabama lost at home to LSU.

Alabama had it's chance. Sorry.

Actually, it looks more like Bama will get in, based on the polls that have been discussed thus far.

No because the best team in the country won the National Championship. I don't think it would be that big of a blowout either.
