He’s showing his true colors. Remember Obama had at least 1 surge of troops in both countries so are the reductions Amash is talking about pre surge or post surge?

Knowingly and willingly lied through his teeth. Even knew kids were vulnerable. Hell even a couple of the hard core posters here might have even worn a mask if they knew what Trump knew.

Yes, I'm against spending more money on the military. What is the reason why these actions are a good idea? The coronavirus has arguably done more damage to U.S. interests than any foreign adversary in many decades. You think maybe our risk assessments are a bit off? The White House press release doesn't go into this much detail so you may have to either think for yourself or try to come up with another zinger of a comeback.

Readiness levels and training were atrocious. Just a result of sequestration, to which both parties were complicit. Debatable to its usefulness as it did help the general budget overspending. All about priorities.
