They might be taught left by some teachers but that doesnt mean they believe everything they hear and will grow up that way. The right and conservatism is the counter culture right now. Young people often seek out the counter culture.

Nice. You have no idea of the news that I consume but your biases won’t let you recognize that. You post that link to my question of asking for evidence that Fauci contributed to making the virus and profiting off of it (the conspiracy theory that is being promoted by folks in this thread). I post facts about what the link you provided actually means and put it into context, and I’m the one that needs to consider my sources. Cool.

I find this to actually be true, particularly when talking to younger people these days. Check out Brandon's approval ratings among those aged 18 to 24 years. It's in the 20's.

So...... You only want replies that answer your direct question yet in the "Fox lies" thread you keep posting Tucker Carlson antics as proof of Fox news lies?

Let's see if we can find some common ground.

1. It is legal to do gain of function research.
2. Fauci is lying when he says that his organization wasn't involved in gain of function research in any way.
3. Fauci did not intentionally leak the virus.
4. Fauci has made himself a multi millionaire off being an un-elected government bureaucrat.
5.The virus may or may not have been a result of gain of function research.
6. The virus may or may not have been accidentally release from a lab.
7. Tucker Carlson is a (Read very slowly) pundit and his opinion does not constitute news.

Your unwillingness to question those in power is misplaced trust in people that take advantage of us on a daily basis.

I see your point and I’m sure you’re right in some cases. However, this is my point. Think back to when we were kids (assuming you’re over 40?). The mere sight of a man kissing another man grossed us out. Fast forward to today and these kids are phased a bit. In fact (just a guess) about half of the sitcoms for kids include a gay couple as characters. We drank out of water hoses, they’ve been programmed to believe you can’t do that. Every cartoon we watched promoted some kind of life lesson. The #1 (again just a guess) cartoon today is anime which promotes anger and a serious lack of sportsmanship. We were taught history which included the dark days of slavery and none of our black friends held it against us. Kids today are being taught that history can be erased if you scream loud enough. Back then we got our asses whooped if we talked back to our parents in even the most modest way. Today physical punishment is called child abuse and they are taught that way. Which has lead to a SERIOUS lack in parental leadership for kids growing up. And we wonder why these people around the nation are burning cities over feelings? They had no guidance growing up.

The left has changed the landscape of life with subtle moves over decades. It’s everywhere you look if you pay attention. We just don’t because it was introduced in small doses and over time has become our normal. I’m even guilty of some change myself as a result.

Ape's just pulling your chain a bit there. However, you and he did bring up an interesting point. The Soviets and now the Russians have always been fairly effective around the world with disinformation campaigns. They were often the tools of the "wars of liberation" when the Soviets helped the locals throw off the remains of colonialism. And disinformation is a very effective means to get an enemy fighting within and ignoring the outside risk. It was presumed/postulated that a lot of class warfare in the US was aided and abetted by Soviet disinformation campaigns - maybe - maybe not.

A recent example would have been the "Russian campaign to elect Trump". You'd have to be a fool to believe that a few memes or posts would convert voters from Clinton to Trump, but the real issue was the screeching and yelling that came later - they didn't vs of course they did. Where did the info in the dossier to incriminate Trump originate - Russian origins again. Plant seeds (however false) and you start a true disinformation campaign that divides a country and renders it less lethal. People fighting within seem to forget the enemy without.

And yet, there are those who believe Russia had absolutely nothing to do withb misinformation in that election at all, not in the least, don't even think about it. And they'll yell a person down for mentioning it.

Do I believe Trump conspired with Russia? Not at all. Do I believe Russia pumped bad information into every platform they could? Hell yeah. Did that cause Hillary to lose? Nope, that's on her bad strategy and unlikable nature.

Even if they didn't fall for the propaganda, they fell right into its trap.

imo propaganda and intelligence agencies are a wash. They do their thing, and we do ours. The truth is both are pretty scummy and our guys have forgotten what they were meant to be.

You have no idea if or how I question those in power. The guy in that thread asked for examples of lies from Fox News. He wanted to compare to other “msm” examples of “lies” then showed as direct examples by “msm” msnbc PUNDiTS saying rittenhouse fired more rounds than apparently he did. i showed several examples of several Fox News personalities lying including Tucker. You brought up the pundit vs journalist in that thread too i think. I agree that Tucker is a pundit. In fact, very little NEWS comes from fox news. It’s almost all opinion. But that is why it’s so dangerous. Most don’t recognize it like you do and take it as fact. Tucker is not news and what he says isn’t necessarily true and i think you agree. I don’t get why youre upset about me answering his direct question and in the process demonstrating the hypocrisy of that thread.

But that is when we first got a glimpse of that there was taxpayer dollars being spent abroad for animal experiments. So we started to dig in and what we found was that there were over 350 laboratories in 50 different countries around the world that are currently authorized to receive US taxpayer dollars for animal testing. In particular, we documented over 30 animal testing labs in Russia and China are currently authorized to receive taxpayer dollars from the NIH for animal testing specifically.

Goodman: Correct. In 2018-2019, we started discovering the problem was much bigger than what was happening at the Kitten Slaughterhouse. So we started to dig into what these laboratories were doing. We worked with Rand Paul and exposed some stupid experiments. In England, for example, they were addicting monkeys with heroin and getting zebrafish hooked on nicotine. And as we kept investigating where the money was going, we found that there was a laboratory in Wuhan on this list of facilities that were getting taxpayer dollars.

We met with the Trump White House in January 2020 and flagged for them before the pandemic was declared that this laboratory in Wuhan was getting money from the NIH. In April 2020, we released our big investigation that documented how taxpayer dollars were being funneled from NIH thru the EcoHealth Alliance to the Wuhan lab for these experiments. They (EcoHealth Alliance) were traveling to Southern China to collect bat viruses, bringing them to Wuhan, and manipulating them in the laboratory. We were proud to be the first to expose the fact that US taxpayer dollars were funding the experiments that most people now believe caused the pandemic.

Goodman: The EcoHealth Alliance is a non-profit based in New York City and they fashion themselves as virus hunters. They fly around the world into remote places and they capture animals and harvest viruses from them. Then like we saw in Wuhan bring them into the lab and manipulate them (the viruses). They have never stopped or prevented a pandemic thru these projects. But they have raked in tens of millions of dollars from the federal government including just since the pandemic began. So despite the fact the EcoHealth Alliance is at the center of allegations that it sparked the pandemic with the experiments they were funding in Wuhan, taxpayers still foot the bill for their reckless research around the world.
From 2014-2017, there was essentially a federal ban for funding of gain of function experiments. It was implemented by the Obama-Biden Administration because there were concerns that these experiments would cause a pandemic. White Coat Waste obtained documents thru FOIA showing that in 2016 the EcoHealth Alliance and the NIH via email conspired to violate the gain of function ban by redefining what their research was and saying that it actually wasn’t gain of function. Of course, we came to learn later on that it was.
