Any Vols Coming out to California for the Cal Game?

LOL, I loved the bash brothers,. Would you use roids if you were in the majors and could get away with it?
That's a tough hypothetical. I would like to think I wouldn't cheat the game. However, if you're sitting around getting beaten by juicers all the time, the incentive to shoot up would cetainly be there.

Viera Fla by where I live has spring training for major leage teams and it is also the home of the Brevard co. Manaties. Have you ever watched a game there?

I've never been to a game there. As far north as I go to watch spring training is Jupiter to watch the Cardinals and Marlins.

This thread has a curious way about it. Love/Hate, Republican/Democrat, Bash/Respect....

It is good to see though, that the respectful tone tends to win out. Most of these Cal fans have been pretty classy around here these past couple of years. I'd hate for the tone to turn a good left coast/right coast rivalry sour. After all, they have bigger fish to fry this season. So do we.

Lets here it hat, I know you could come up with something better than the lame excuses for positive test!
There are a myriad of ways to attack the testing. One, the player doesn't have a representative present during the testing. Two, given how incompetent the management of MLB is, why should any testing done under their supervision be trusted? Finally, I like the argument Floyd Landis and his supporters came up with. Simply state that elite athletes have a higher level of testosterone than the average person, hence , conventional tests comparing them to an average baseline are unreliable and inapplicable.

 atleast you didn't sell anybody out!

I'm an admitted Barry Bonds apologist. That said, dragging Mark Sweeney into the muck after his positive amphetamine test was deplorable. You get caught, you take your medicine and move on. You don't drag teammates under with you.

Especially Sweeney, from what I can tell he was a friend!(one of few) Now if he could of somehow thrown it back to the Jeff Kent era!

Say, would you guys be willing to help with our little tree sit problem when you come out? What we could use is some good old-fashioned action, something noticeably lacking in our student base. I am sure the tree sitters would never have attempted such a stunt against the mighty fan base of the Vols! What would you guys do to a bunch of acid crazed hippies if they tried to hijack Neyland?

Details?

I'm going to finalize my travel plans this weekend. Anyone from the Nation interested in going to any of the A's-Tigers games that weekend?

unless you are a tigers fan i would probably go to a giants game. the As stadium is nothing to get excited about.

I've been to both many times. While I would agree that Pac Bell, or whatever the name is this year, is superior to McAfee Associates, or whatever the name is this year, the Giants aren't at home that weekend. I'll probably fly in on Wednesday afternoon and catch the Giants before they hit the road.

do you have a couple of months? long story short - hippie/unemployed wackjobs try to derail renovation of 80 year old stadium and the building of state of the art training facility.

Did they literally sit in the trees?

The Daily Californian

Inside Bay Area - Saving oaks is much like taking vacation
Inside Bay Area - Cops take equipment from tree sitters

IF YOU REALLY WANT to know what the hippies and special land interests are up to, go to this blog, the truth vs. lies

Many Cal fans have said they are interested in recruiting Ten fans to help with our fight. I think it is a great idea. Hell, we would probably be willing to let you guys win uncontested if you would offer to help!
