Stretching the truth a little aren't you there true. If they are Christians, they believe, they just may not want to argue with some one of your superior intellegence.

I would go with T-town on this one. The old testament is a history guide for the new testament and presents the old law.

That is probably valid. Personally, I certainly don't believe the hand of God is needed for any of it.

I know there is unknown's in the universe, and I believe there is some overriding power of some sort that we don't fully understand. There is some "theory of everything" out there somewhere. That is about as far as I take it.

I certainly don't believe the miracle-reaking, prayer answering, vindictive God of the Bible or Qu'ran was behind any of it. And I further think religion is a sham and a racket.

Belief is the basis of salvation....at the day of judgement, the Bible tells us it will be too late. The nonbeleivers will see/know that God is real.
