I used my Apple store app on phone. Took about 40 minutes after 3:00 am to get in. Ordered me the 6plus and the wife the 6.

Just for kicks I checked the Apple Store app to see what was still available. Every 64gb iPhone 6 through AT&T is set the deliver on 19th. Every 64gb plus says ships in 3-4 weeks.

The plus is definitely the hot item this time. My plus order currently reads in status email that it should arrive on the 19th.

Verizon also had said something similar on wednesday of they knew the 6's would be in by the 19th, but the store hadn't told the employees the same thing/a date about the 6 pluses

I decided on the 6, even though I liked the 6 Plus. I figured the 6 would be a lot easier to use and I was able to get 64GB for the same price as 16GB on the Plus.

I know the first time I see someone with a 6 Plus I'll probably regret my decision a little, but I want to be able to put my phone in my jeans pocket when necessary.

I ordered on AT&T so I could keep my unlimited data. Hope they don't screw that up!

Ok. Yeah, Verizon's got the pluses as 10/14. I think it's been that way since preorders started this morning.

Looks like the providers might just have been planning on having those come in later than the regular 6's.

I'm torn. I like the 6 plus for the battery life and possibly the camera stabilization, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the size...especially as someone who often uses his phone one-handed. (I wish I had a model to try or just mess around with; just at least to see how the "reachability" feels)


On the other hand, I'm still using an iPhone 4 that I got the first year verizon started carrying the iPhone. Apparently, the discount doesn't kick in until after the new phone is delivered (the charge is made for the phone first, then when the phone is traded in, the discount amount is reimbursed).


I'm worried that waiting a whole extra month vs a week might be tempting fate a bit too much. If any water damage occurs or the phone stops working or something, that $200 discount's gone.

I think the Pluses are just shipping later. I haven't seen anyone who ordered one that is getting it by the 19th.

There are several on MacRumors. I just think they had very limited supply for launch. 6 is still available in all configs I think.

Maybe. I'm also guessing initial inventory is probably not able to meet demand. I'm sure some will get there's on the 19th & stores will get some shipments.

The initial rumors were suggesting the Plus would might not ship for another month or possibly next year. I believe they've had production issues.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Plus is just not as plentiful.

The confirmation email on my Plus says it will be delivered on the 19th.

128 GB gold. This phone will probably get recycled around my household for a long time so I decided to bite the bullet with the extra storage for videos and such.

I got the 128 gb Slate but just regular iPhone 6. Was going for the 64gb, but at the last minute (perhaps was the product of waking up at 2 am to order) decided on the 128gb. It's only an extra $4 a month. So going from a 16gb to 128 gb.

I almost went with the Slate but changed my mind at the last minute.

I just preordered a 128gb Plus (silver) at my local Target. You pay for a $25 gift card in order to reserve it. I was the first person to do so, so my phone should be guaranteed next Friday. They are also offering promo trade-in credit for older iPhones. My 5 is worth $100 towards the new one. I know I could get much more on eBay but I don't wanna mess with all that.

Still not 100% sure I even want the new iPhone right now but I've at least saved a reserve spot if I do wanna go through with it. No commitment on the reserve, just the $25 Target gift card.
