You can probably get more off Gazelle...I locked in a price of $180 last week.

Those of you that pre-ordered before...this is the first time I've done it. Do you think it will arrive on the 19th? Also do they just leave it at your door?

It will arrive on the 19th if you got your order in on time, not a day before. Seems like I've always had to sign that little hand held thing they carry. I think there's a form or something you can fill out to get them to leave it but I usually just make sure I'm there or somebody is.

It says it will arrive on the 19th. Hopefully it will be after my wife gets home at 3. Wonder if I can leave a note on the door?

Someone has to sign for it. If you're friendly with your neighbor then I'd leave a note signed by you on door telling them to leave with neighbor. But I'd definitely try and be there for it or you'll have to wait until the following day.

Could be UPS, FedEx, or DHL. You'll know when you get actual shipping confirmation which may not be until Wednesday. Well if you ordered from Apple it may be Monday but from a carrier is usually Wednesday.

Pre-ordered my iPhone 6 64GB this afternoon, in store at AT&T. They specifically told me that model is still shipping on 09/19. Got home to get a confirmation email saying it won't shop until Oct. 13th - 31st. Thanks a bunch AT&T! :)

Something I've never understood...

Why not just wait 4 or 5 weeks after the release?

I understand if your phone is broken, but if it's just an upgrade and the old phone is still chugging along...why the rush?

Lol really? I guess if you don't understand there's no way to explain. Do you dvr football season & then wait & watch the games in March?

I honestly would have waited but I have an old Blackberry that is about to die on me any day now :)

This is why I'm waiting. I wanna see some in-depth reviews and actually handle one in person before I buy. If the 6 had the OIS then I'd get that hands down. But I wanna also see how the Plus feels before I get that one.

The reason I want to pre-order one is because I want to take advantage of the $200 trade in for my iphone 4. I've never pre-ordered before but the trade in details specify an ending date and I know I'll never be able to get that much money for my iphone 4 unless I go ahead and do it now. Has anyone that has already pre-ordered gotten any accessories? Are there screen protectors, cases, car chargers, etc available yet?

I'm waiting to see them in stores, and touch and feel them
I usually carry my phone in my pocket and really want to understand the size difference between the 6 and the 6 plus

I missed preorder in time for $200 trade in on 4S. Guess I'm going to have to do the wait in line thing Ive always mocked people for.

But $200 is more than the 4S goes for on eBay right now. I'm sure that will drop too once the 6 is officially out.

Which carrier do you have? I have Verizon and they said I could do it until the end of the month in stores. Problem is you have to make sure the new phone gets shipped to you by then. I think if you order it online they even give you a little bit longer.

AT&T told me today that I can come back to the store and they can give me a special promo code I can use to trade in the iPhone 4 whenever I receive my iPhone 6 even if it's after the promo expiration date. Using that promo code I can still take advantage of their iPhone trade in program. So check with your local store and see if they can do the same if you won't be getting the iPhone 6 until next month (or later).

Verizon. Went to the store yesterday and they said they were all back ordered into Oct. maybe I will call customer service and see what they can do.
