Anyone care to offer an explanation of the hand gestures and facial expression for the guy in the middle between :28 and :32? If this is what they're offering to get Gruden to Fayetteville then I don't think he's coming (no pun intended).

I have lived in LR for 15 years...they are the most delusional fans I have ever been around. They think their program/facilities/ tradition is the best in the SEC. It is hard to listen to this year round chest thumping of such a mediocre program. Barf bags are required if you listen to local sports radio. And YES, they truely believe that Gruden is signed and will be their next coach. If Jerry Jones was going to pay the razorback foundation the money necessary to hire Gruden, why wouldn't he keep the money...fire Jason Garrett...and use his money to hire Gruden to coach the Cowgirls.

Coming from a rival fanbase that wants no part of Gruden in Tennessee. And I mean, who could blame you. In college it's all about getting superior talent and connecting with kids. And we can all see, Gruden coaching x's and o's all around Mark Richt. On top of that, a Gruden hire would mean a lot of instate Georgia kids leaving the state to come play for the Vols. By the way, cherry picking stats generally means your argument is weak.

Very possible. From the reports I've read about Arkansas willing to throw the cash out, they are asking for REALLY big names. Mack Brown / Nick Saban type money is a big deal but a lot of these top tier / established coaches are likely already rich, have their name stamped in some program somewhere, and probably don't want to live in Arkansas. Not saying Knoxville, Oxford, Lexington or other SEC school cities are much better than there but it's...Arkansas lol.

I think they'll get a really good coach. These people keep going back and forth like not getting Gruden is the worst thing in the world. Honestly, both UT and Arkansas seem to be willing to spend top dollars so both schools will probably be happy. I don't see any schools settling for unproven, Kirby Smart types.

People have been talking those plus Gruden. Even a rumor that Franklin has turned them down. What if all these people are turning them down? They've had all season to find someone.

Question, how many of those that are saying " its Arkansas for God sakes" have ever been there?

My guess is zero. It's actually an area that is LOADED with high paying jobs, not to mention it has a ton of natural beauty. I have been to every SEC town and can tell you that Fayetville is one of the nicest little big towns you'll ever encounter.

I have traveled much of Arkansas and can tell you that outside of Little Rock there isnt much there with the exception of Fayetteville. Walmart has been the reason why many large corporations have relocated their headquarters there.

Glenn Miller -Tennessee acts like they are entitled to get Grudens services all because he used to coach there and his wife went to school there, well then why didn't he take the job 3 yrs ago when kiffen left? I've gotta say this, I applaud Jeff Long for opening up the check book, thats what its gonna take to get a great head coach. WPS.

Jim Hartmann - The reason he didn't take the job after lame kiffen left was because the program was left in shambles with NCAA sanctions about to come down. With a late January hire for a head coach I don't know any head coach that take a job them except for Dooley if y'all get Gruden good luck to y'all and good job. If he doesn't come I know how you feel when he turns down Tennessee as well.

Unfortunately, I have found this is the thinking of many fellow Vols fans. Not saying Arkansas, as a whole state, is great, but Fayetteville and the Northwest Arkansas area is actually pretty nice.

Now Starkville, we can all agree that Starkville is horrible in every way imaginable.

Depends on who turns them down. I can see Franklin turning them down because he would be exposed as an average coach in the SECw. If people keep turning them down they need to exhaust all of their options and go for a lower level but decent coach ie Dykes.
