Baltimore Unrest

There were sources saying early on saying some officers were planning to resign. I could see if they feel like their brothers and sisters are being railroaded for political purposes.

Is having fewer police officers necessarily a bad thing?

A few perhaps. But many (might even say most) would understand how hard it is to break one's neck on their own while only riding in a vehicle. A larynx, sure. Breaking your own neck by banging your head against the wall? Not seeing it and I'd suspect many of them would as well.

This is a case where common sense should break out. They may stop the minor tickets and whatnot like NYC, but walking out? Doubtful.

I think they should quit enforcing laws period. All our problems will be solved.

I disagree. They should enforce laws that actually involve damaged to life, limb and property. Just because someone carries a switchblade or has a sack of weed or a busted taillight, that doesn't mean they have to go to jail... or fined or harassed for that matter.

Nah. Legalize drugs, driving with alcohol, stop with the petty traffic violations like speeding and there wont be any more damage to life, limb, and property. Everyone will go back to work and everthing will be good.

Now who really believes or even suggests that?

Somebody likes big government.

Big govt's fingerprints are all over this situation. Starting with the conditions that create the Freddie Grays in the first place all the way down to a police state that can pick up guys without any probable cause or reason for arrest outside of a knife.

is that the normal wording for it? "depraved heart murder"

Finally found the definition of this:

The term "Depraved heart murder" describes not the victim's heart, but the perpetrator's. It is defined as deliberately killing a person in a wanton and even vicious manner that exhibits recklessness and indifference to the individual.

to the same government which has now filed charges against those cops for those very actions?
